Arusberita.id – Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) RI Andi Amran Sulaiman mengatakan bahwa presiden terpilih Prabowo Subianto akan membangun sektor pertanian besar-besaran.
Hal itu disampaikan Mentan Amran saat menghadiri Rakernas Paguyuban Sosial Marga Tionghoa Indonesia (PSMTI) di Jakarta Selatan, Sabtu (28/9/2024).
Berdasarkan blue print yang tertera, Amran mengatakan, tmasa pemerintahan Prabowo Subianto akan ada pembangunan besar di sektor pertanian.
Sebagai contoh, saat ini, pemerintah mulai membangun klaster pertanian modern di berbagai wilayah.
“Saat ini sudah mulai bekerja di lapangan, khususnya wilayah Merauke, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, Sumatera Selatan, dan Kalimantan Barat. Di sana kita membangun klaster pertanian modern yang sejajar dengan negara maju lainnya,” kata Amran dalam keterangan tertulis, Minggu (29/9/2024).
Amran mengatakan, target dekat pemerintahan Prabowo adalah swasembada pangan.
Ia meyakini, swasembada bisa diwujudkan dalam waktu 2 hingga 3 tahun ke depan. Setelah itu, pemerintah berencana ekspor.
“Kita bisa ekspor ke depan, tapi janji kita dalam waktu dekat adalah swasembada dulu. Maaf Bapak/Ibu, dulu kita impor dan semua itu harus kita kembalikan menjadi ekspor. Ini bisa kita wujudkan di dalam waktu 2 hingga 3 tahun ke depan,” kata Amran.
Amran berharap, di pemerintahan Prabowo, Indonesia bisa mencetak sejarah pertama menjadi eksportir pangan terbesar di dunia.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Amran juga mengatakan bahwa pemerintahan Prabowo ke depan akan ada program makan bergizi gratis bagi lebih dari 28 juta anak sekolah.
“Mimpi kita ke depan untuk program makan bergizi gratis adalah tidak ada impor, karena semua bisa dihasilkan dari pekarangan. Ini bisa surplus dan kita tinggal tambah subtitusi menu makan dari protein yang sudah surplus seperti telur dan ayam,” kata Amran.
