Arusberita.id – Menteri Perdagangan (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan memantau pasokan dan harga bahan pangan di Pasar Palmerah, Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (4/1/2023).
Mendag mengungkapkan bahwa harga pangan di Jakarta stabil karena pasokannya tercukupi.
Mendag menjelaskan, pemerintah telah berupaya keras selama 2023 agar harga pangan tidak bergejolak. Pemerintah terus menjaga stabilitas ekonomi melalui kerjasama lintas sektor yang melibatkan Kementerian Perdagangan, Kementerian Pertanian, dan Kementerian dan Lembaga lainnya.
“Pemerintah berhasil menjaga stabilitas ekonomi melalui koordinasi antar berbagai sektor, termasuk perdagangan, menteri pertanian, dan Presiden,” kata Zulkifli Hasan.
Kestabilan harga pangan ini bukan isapan jempol belaka. Angka inflasi di Desember 2023 yang hanya 0,41% ini membuktikan bahwa iklim perekonomian Indonesia sangat positif selama Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024. “Penanganan inflasi Desember mencapai tingkat terendah untuk model baru, hanya 0,41 (persen) memberikan dampak positif pada perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru” ucapnya.
Ia mengungkapkan pihak pemerintah juga berhasil mengendalikan inflasi di tengah tantangan musiman seperti kenaikan harga cabai. “Harga-harga kebutuhan pokok lain seperti ayam dan telur tetap terkendali, meskipun ada beberapa variabilitas di beberapa daerah,” jelas Mendag.
Ke depan, pemerintah memiliki perhatian khusus pada kondisi petani, terutama di daerah-daerah penghasil komoditas yang menghadapi kendala.
