Arusberita.id – Pemerintah yang dalam hal ini Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) mengungkapkan masih menggodok aturan kewajiban instansi pemerintah untuk melakukan backup atau pencadangan data.
Aturan tersebut seiring dengan insiden serangan siber ransomware ke Pusat Data Nasional Sementara (PDNS) 2 yang berdampak pada terganggunya layanan publik kepada masyarakat.
Sebagai informasi, kelompok peretas Brain Cipher menyandera file instansi pemerintah di PDNS 2. Sementara itu, dalam aturan yang ada saat ini tidak mewajibkan penyewa pusat data untuk melakukan cadangan data.
Plt Dirjen Aptika Kementerian Kominfo Ismail, mengungkapkan pemerintah terus berupaya untuk melakukan pemulihan layanan publik yang terdampak.
“Ini masih di dalam tahap recovery. (Kewajiban pencadangan data) itu kaitannya ke masalah pemulihan regulasi, itu sekalian. Masih proses,” ujar Ismail ditemui di i acara Diskusi Publik Terkait Keamanan Siber Pusat Data Nasional, Jakarta, Selasa (9/7/2024).
Meski dalam proses pengubahan aturan dari sebelumnya bersifat optional menuju wajib, Ismail mengungkapkan bahwa berbagai instansi pemerintah, kementerian, lembaga, dan pemerintah daerah, sudah mengetahui hal tersebut. “Jadi, nanti jalan full back up,” ucapnya.
Sebelumnya, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) turut menyoroti untuk melakukan backup data di pusat data nasional.
“Yang paling penting adalah semua data yang kita miliki itu harus di-back up,” kata Jokowi setelah meninjau RSUD Sinjai, Sulawesi Selatan, Kamis (4/7/2024) seperti dilansir dari detiknews.
Hal itu dilakukan untuk melindungi data masyarakat. Dengan begitu, pemerintah sudah siap jika terjadi sesuatu yang tak diinginkan.
“Sehingga, kalau ada apa-apa, kita sudah siap,” ujarnya.
