Arusberita.id – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menegaskan bahwa aturan untuk mengendalikan niaga-el atau e-commerce berbasis media sosial akan segera disiapkan oleh kementerian terkait.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Presiden dalam keterangannya usai meninjau penanganan Inpres Jalan Daerah (IJD) di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur, pada Sabtu (23/09/2023).
“Ini baru disiapkan, itu kan lintas kementerian dan ini memang baru difinalisasi di Kementerian Perdagangan,” ucapnya.
Presiden Jokowi pun menyebut bahwa hal tersebut harus segera diatur karena dapat berdampak kepada usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) Indonesia serta aktivitas perekonomian di pasar.
“Karena kita tahu itu berefek pada UMKM, kepada produksi di usaha kecil, usaha mikro, dan juga pada pasar. Ada pasar, di beberapa pasar mulai anjlok menurun karena serbuan,” lanjutnya.
Kepala Negara juga menyebut bahwa regulasi yang sedang dirancang tersebut akan mengatur antara media sosial dan platform perdagangan atau ekonomi.
“Mestinya dia itu sosial media bukan ekonomi media, itu yang baru akan diselesaikan untuk segera diatur,” tandasnya.
