Arusberita.id – Pada Kamis, 30 Agustus 2023, Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menghadiri Peresmian Pembukaan Rapat Kerja Nasional XVIII Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) Tahun 2023, di Nusantara Hall Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.

Dalam acara peresmian tersebut, Presiden mengatakan bahwa, selain di sektor pertambangan, pemerintah juga menggalakan program hilirisasi di sektor lain, termasuk produk usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM).

“Sekali lagi ingin saya sampaikan bahwa hilirisasi itu bukan hanya untuk yang besar-besar, bukan urusan nikel saja, bukan urusan tambang tembaga yang gede-gede, ndak, yang UKM pun kita harus industrialisasikan, harus hilirisasikan semua produk UMKM yang masih mentahan,” kata Presiden.

Kepala Negara RI juga memberikan apresiasi kepada para pelaku usaha yang melakukan hilirisasi, seperti pemilik Hajirocker Coffee asal Banten yang berhasil mengolah biji kopi menjadi kopi bubuk dan mengemasnya dengan kemasan yang menarik.

Produk lain yang menurut Presiden berpotensi besar untuk dihilirisasi antara lain gula aren, kelapa sawit, hingga rumput laut.

Ia berharap, produk olahan tersebut dapat mengisi pasar dalam negeri dan siap untuk diekspor ke luar negeri.

“Kita ini nomor dua di dunia, rumput laut, tapi ekspornya mentahan. Saya cek ke mana ini mentahan, ke Filipina, ke Thailand, kenapa engga buat industri sendiri di sini. Tepung agar bisa dibuat, semi karagenan bisa dibuat, nilai tambahnya langsung melompat semuanya,” sambung Presiden.

Berdasarkan perhitungan Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (Bappenas), program hilirisasi akan meningkatkan pendapatan per kapita Indonesia menjadi 10.900 dolar AS dalam 10 tahun mendatang, 15.800 dolar AS dalam 15 tahun, dan 25.000 dolar AS saat Indonesia mencapai Indonesia Emas 2045.

Maka dari itu, Presiden Jokowi berharap pemimpin Indonesia berikutnya dapat terus melanjutkan program hilirisasi ini.

Selain itu, Presiden juga mendorong penggunaan sistem skor kredit (credit scoring system) dalam pemberian kredit, khususnya kredit usaha rakyat (KUR) untuk UMKM.

“Saya masih mendorong terus kepada menteri, kepada OJK, kepada BI, agar kalau bisa urusan kredit KUR ini tanpa agunan. Mestinya harus menggunakan sistem credit scoring, mestinya seperti itu, karena sudah 145 negara untuk UMKM itu menggunakan sistem credit scoring,” imbuh Presiden.

Ia yakin, dengan diterapkannya sistem skor kredit, maka akan sangat membantu pelaku UMKM untuk merintis dan mengembangkan usahanya.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, turut hadir pula Menteri Investasi/Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia, Menteri Koperasi dan Usaha, Kecil, dan Menengah (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, dan Ketua Umum Badan Pengurus Pusat HIPMI Akbar Himawan Buchari.
