Arusberita.id – Menteri Koordinator Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto mengatakan 38 negara anggota dari Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) telah menyetujui Indonesia untuk masuk menjadi salah satu anggota organisasi itu.
Bahkan Airlangga mengatakan dirinya sudah menerima roadmap (peta jalan) bergabungnya Indonesia menjadi anggota OECD. Selain Indonesia, negara lain yang menerima roadmap ini hanya Argentina.
“(Masuk) OECD tentu bukan suatu yang gampang karena ada 38 negara (anggota yang harus menyetujui masuknya negara lain sebagai anggota), dan 38 negara (anggota) menyetujui Indonesia masuk OECD,” kata Airlangga dalam Seminar ekonomi yang diselenggarakan di Kolese Kanisius, Jakarta Pusat, Sabtu (11/5/2024).
“Saya minggu lalu di Paris menerima secara resmi roadmap (peta jalan) dari mereka. Dua negara yang mendapatkan roadmap satu Indonesia, yang kedua Argentina,” tambahnya.

Airlangga menjelaskan bergabungnya Indonesia dalam OECD menjadi penting mengingat Indonesia saat ini sedang melakukan reformasi birokrasi besar-besaran. Sebab dengan keikutsertaan ini Indonesia bisa ‘mencontek’ berbagai macam kebijakan dan standarisasi kebijakan serupa dari negara OECD lain.
“Kenapa OECD penting? Karena kita mau next reform. Reform pertama kita saat Covdi ada Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja, kita revisi lebih dari 60 undang-undang. Next implementation ialah melalui OECD dan banyak data yang mereka punya dan banyak standar yang mereka punya,” ucap Airlangga.
Selain itu, masuknya Indonesia sebagai anggota OECD juga bisa mendatangkan investasi dari negara anggota lain untuk masuk dalam pembangunan Tanah Air. Karena itulah selain OECD, Indonesia juga sudah aktif menjadi kerja sama dengan negara-negara lain melalui blok ekonomi.
Misalkan saja Indonesia yang sudah akan tergabung dengan blok ekonomi seperti Indo-Pacific Economy Framework (IPEF) dan Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), hingga peta kerja sama dengan Korea Selatan dan Uni Eropa.
“Jadi kita sangat siap untuk internasional standar. Nah tentu kita berharap pertumbuhan ekonomi kita akan bertambah lagi. Dengan masuk ke OECD, investasi juga akan banyak masuk,” pungkasnya.
