Arusberita.id – Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) menegaskan bahwa stok gula konsumsi saat ini tercukupi.
Dirjen Dalam Negeri, Kementerian Perdagangan Isy Karim mengklaim bahwa stok gula konsumsi saat ini lebih dari 330 ribu ton. Stok ini, menurutnya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gula hingga satu bulan ke depan.
“Dari catatan kami di BUMN pangan dan swasta, stok lebih 330 ribu ton, artinya cukup sampai bulan depan,” kata Isy, Jumat (21/4).
Meski demikian, Isy mengakui beberapa waktu lalu ada keterlambatan impor lantaran harga gula dunia sempat melonjak.
Sementara waktu itu, belum ada keputusan relaksasi harga acuan pemerintah (HAP) gula konsumsi. Sehingga importir kesulitan melakukan realisasi impor gula.
“Kan perlu waktu untuk nego, tapi sekarang (harga gula dunia) sudah turun, dan mau masuk musim giling Mei ini,” ungkap Isy.
Diketahui, pemerintah baru saja menaikkan HAP gula konsumsi menjadi Rp 17.500-18.500/kg sejak 5 April hingga 31 Mei 2024. Keputusan ini diambil untuk memastikan stok gula konsumsi pada momen Lebaran.
Hanya saja, meski HAP sudah diubah, stok gula di ritel modern saat ini masih kosong. Pantauan Kontan.co.id, di tiga ritel modern di kawasan Kebayoran Lama Jakarta Selatan, Minggu (21/4) stok gula terpantau terbatas.
Di ritel Alfamdi Kebayoran Lama 3, gula konsumsi hanya tersisa satu brand saja yaitu Gunung Madu kemasan 1 kg sesuai HAP Rp 17.500.
Serupa, di ritel Prima Fresh Market Kebayoran Lama juga tersisa satu brand gula konsumsi yaitu Rose Brand dengan jumlah terbatas.
Sementara di Indomart Kebayoran Lama stoknya baru saja terpenuhi hari ini, setelah beberapa waktu alami kekosongan stok.
