Bahkan, BI menyebut, inflasi kembali ke target sasaran lebih cepat dari perkiraan. BI mencatat, inflasi Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) pada Juni 2023 tercatat 3,52% secara Year on Year (YoY) sehingga berada di dalam sasaran 3,0±1%.
Inflasi terjadi di semua kelompok. Inflasi inti pada bulan Juni 2023 sebesar 2,58% YoY, atau lebih rendah dibandingkan inflasi bulan sebelumnya sebesar 2,66% YoY.
Inflasi kelompok volatile foods juga tercatat rendah yaitu sebesar 1,2% YoY, turun dari bulan sebelumnya yang sebesar 3,28% YoY.
Sementara itu, inflasi kelompok administered prices juga menurun dari 9,52% YoY menjadi 9,21% YoY.
Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo menyebut, rendahnya inflasi pada Juni 2023 dipengaruhi stabilitas nilai tukar, turunnya harga komoditas global, rendahnya dampak lanjutan dari inflasi volatile foods, dan terkendalinya ekspektasi inflasi.
“Kembalinya inflasi ke dalam sasaran sebagai hasil positif dari konsistensi kebijakan moneter serta eratnya sinergi pengendalian inflasi pangan antara Bank Indonesia dan pemerintah, baik di pusat maupun daerah, melaui Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Pusat dan Daerah dengan penguatan Gerakan Nasional Pengendalian Inflasi Pangan (GNPIP) di berbagai daerah,” kata Perry, Selasa (25/7)..
Dia menambahkan, dengan perkembangan tersebut BI meyakini inflasi tetap terkendali dalam kisaran 3,0±1% pada sisa tahun 2023 dan 2,5±1% pada 2024.
