Arusberita.id – Perum Bulog mengungkapkan telah mengantongi kontrak pengadaan beras dari sejumlah negara. Kontrak ini adalah untuk penugasan impor beras sebanyak 1,5 juta ton.
“Di tengah situasi yang sangat sulit mendapatkan beras impor, Bulog sudah berhasil mendapatkan kontrak sebesar 1 juta ton dari kuota tambahan penugasan importasi beras dari pemerintah sebanyak 1,5 juta ton,” kata Direktur Supply Chain dan Pelayanan Publik Perum Bulog Mokhamad Suyamto dalam keterangan resmi, dikutip Jumat (3/11/2023).
“Saat ini kita sudah kontrak dengan beberapa negara yang produksinya masih banyak. Yaitu Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan dan Myanmar. Kita juga akan menjajaki dengan India dan Kamboja maupun negara lainnya yang memungkinkan dan memenuhi persyaratan,” tambahnya.
Seperti diketahui, pada 9 Oktober 2023 lalu, pemerintah mengumumkan rencana penambahan kuota impor beras yang ditugaskan kepada Bulog. Setelah menugaskan impor sebanyak 2 juta ton tahun 2023 ini, pemerintah menambah penugasan baru sebanyak 1,5 juta ton beras. Dengan begitu, Bulog mendapat penugasan impor sebanyak 3,5 juta ton pada pada tahun 2023 ini.
Suyamto mengatakan, pihaknya akan melakukan perhitungan matang sebelum menjalankan penugasan baru tersebut.
“Walaupun pemerintah memberikan tambahan kuota penugasan impor kepada Bulog sebanyak 1,5 juta ton, namun pelaksanaannya akan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penyaluran di dalam negeri,” ujarnya.
Stok Bulog
Di sisi lain, Suyamto mengungkapkan, saat ini stok beras yang dikuasai Bulog adalah sebanyak 1,45 juta ton.
“Dengan tambahan baru penugasan impor dari pemerintah ini maka jumlah stok akan makin kuat untuk kebutuhan penyaluran sampai dengan tahun depan guna mempertahankan stabilitas harga beras di masyarakat,” sebutnya.
Dia pun meminta agar masyarakat tidak panik meski terjadi kenaikan harga beras. Sebab, kenaikan harga saat ini diantaranya efek fenomena iklim El Nino.
“Masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir, pemerintah melalui Bulog menjamin kebutuhan beras tersedia di masyarakat dengan harga terjangkau walau di pasaran ada sedikit kenaikan harga. Kami melakukan pemantauan secara terus menerus di tengah situasi saat ini agar tetap terkendali,” kata Suyamto.
Disebutkan, hingga saat ini, Bulog telah menggelontorkan beras operasi pasar atau Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) di seluruh Indonesia sebanyak 885 ribu ton. Kegiatan ini, imbuh dia, akan terus berlanjut digelontorkan sampai harga stabil.
“Sekarang pun sedang disalurkan Beras Bantuan Pangan untuk bulan September Oktober dan November dengan jumlah total sebanyak 641 ribu ton kepada masyarakat kurang mampu di seluruh Indonesia,” pungkasnya.
Neraca Beras
Sebelumnya, Badan Pangan Nasional (Bapanas) memproyeksikan ketahanan stok beras pada tahun 2024 nanti adalah 95 hari. Dengan estimasi, akan ada stok beras sebanyak 7,85 juta ton pada akhir Desember 2023 nanti.
Angka itu, berasal dari stok awal Januari 2023 sebanyak 4,06 juta ton, produksi tahun 2023 ditaksir mencapai 30,89 juta ton, tanpa ada ekspor, dan ditambah impor yang akan mencapai 2,5 juta ton, maka akan ada ketersediaan besar sebanyak 38,46 juta ton tahun ini.
Dengan asumsi konsumsi nasional sebanyak 30,61 juta ton atau sekitar 2,55 juta ton per bulan, akan ada stok akhir lebih dari 7 juta ton.
