Arusberita.id – Direktur Jenderal Pajak Kementerian Keuangan Suryo Utomo menyampaikan bahwa sebanyak 59,88 juta Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) telah terintegrasi dengan Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP).
“Dari total keseluruhan wajib pajak orang pribadi dalam negeri sebesar 72,46 juta wajib pajak telah dapat kami padankan 59,88 juta NIK,” katanya dalam konferensi pers APBN Kita, dikutip Kamis (4/1/2023).
Dia menjelaskan, dari jumlah tersebut, telah dipadankan melalui sistem sebanyak 55,92 juta NIK. Sementara itu, pemadanan 3,95 juta NIK dengan NPWP dilakukan oleh wajib pajak.
Dengan demikian, Suryo menyampaikan bahwa masih ada sebanyak 12 juta NIK yang belum dipadankan dengan NPWP.
Direktorat Jenderal Pajak, imbuhnya, akan terus melakukan pemadanan NIK dan NPWP berdasarkan informasi yang didapatkan dari Dukcapil.
Sementara itu, Suryo juga mengimbau kepada para wajib pajak untuk bisa melakukan pemadanan NIK dan NPWP melalui portal DJP online atau melalui kantor pelayanan pajak.
“Kami imbau juga ke masyarakat wajib pajak untuk yang belum memadankan tolong akses ke portal kami untuk pemadanan atau melalui layanan office,” katanya.
Sebagaimana diketahui, pemerintah menunda pemberlakuan NIK sebagai NPWP menjadi 1 Juli 2024, yang sebelumnya ditetapkan pada awal 2024.
Ketentuan ini tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Keuangan (PMK) No. 136/2023 tentang Perubahan atas PMK No. 112/PMK.03/2022 tentang NPWP Orang Pribadi, Wajib Pajak Badan, dan Wajib Pajak Instansi Pemerintah.
Direktur Penyuluhan, Pelayanan, dan Hubungan Masyarakat DJP Dwi Astuti menyampaikan bahwa diundurnya pemberlakuan tersebut disesuaikan dengan waktu implementasi Core Tax Administration System (CTAS) pada pertengahan 2024.
“Juga setelah melakukan assessment kesiapan seluruh stakeholder terdampak, seperti ILAP [instansi pemerintah, lembaga, asosiasi, dan pihak ketiga lainnnya) dan wajib pajak, maka kesempatan ini diberikan kepada seluruh stakeholder untuk menyiapkan sistem aplikasi terdampak sekaligus upaya pengujian dan habituasi sistem yang baru bagi wajib pajak,” katanya.
Oleh karena itu, NPWP dengan format 15 digit atau NPWP yang lama, masih dapat digunakan hingga 30 Juni 2024.
