Arusberita.id – Forum Dai Internasional Asia Tenggara resmi dibentuk di Jakarta, Jumat (26/7/2024). Pembentukan forum ini merupakan rangkaian dari penyelenggaraan Konferensi Dai ASEAN.
Peresmian pembentukan forum dilakukan di Istana Wakil Presiden (Wapres), Jakarta dihadiri langsung Wapres Ma’ruf Amin. Pembentukan Forum Dai Internasional Asia Tenggara merupakan inisiasi Indonesia dengan lima tujuan utama.
Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) Forum, Dr Muhammad Cholil Nafis mengatakan, tujuan utamanya pembentukan forum ini untuk memperkuat kerja sama dan kolaborasi di antara Dai di Asia Tenggara.
“Sebagai upaya memperkuat dakwah yang berbasiskan pada Islam Wasathiyah. Kemudian, membangun wadah berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan strategi dakwah yang efektif,” ujar Dr Cholil Nafis yang juga Sekjen Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) bidang dakwah dikutuip KBRN, Jakarta.
“Ketiga, mendorong pembangunan SDM untuk para Dai di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Melalui pelatihan, seminar dan berbagai program pembangunan lainnya,” kata dia.
Cholil menjelaskan, forum yang dibentuk oleh para Dai dan Ulama di 11 negara ASEAN ini juga bertujuan menyediakan forum diskusi. Mengenai berbagai isu strategis variatif berkaitan dengan dakwah di Asia Tenggara.
“Keempat, untuk menyediakan forum mendiskusikan berbagai isu strategis variatif berkaitan dengan dakwah di Asia Tenggara. Dan memformulasikan solusi bersama,” ucapnya.
“Kelima, untuk memperkuat peran para Dai. Dalam membangun masyarakat yang religius dan damai,” katanya.
Melalui forum ini, para Dai di ASEAN ingin menyampaikan kepada umat non muslim mengenai bagaimana Islam memberi kontribusi. Serta, bagaimana dakwah yang disampaikan menjadi dakwah yang nyaman dan kontributif.
“Tidak semata-mata berdasarkan kepentingan politik yang sifatnya struktural, tapi kita berpolitik di dalam dakwah itu ada keadaban. Kemudian, memasukan nilai-nilai itu di dalam membangun negara di masing-masing negara kita di Asia Tenggara ini,” ujar Cholil.
Forum ini juga dipastikan akan memberikan perhatian dan menanggapi berbagai peristiwa yang terjadi secara global. Utamanya, yang berkaitan langsung dengan umat muslim dunia, seperti yang tengah terjadi pada muslim di Gaza, Palestina.
“Suatu saat nanti hal-hal yang sifatnya peristiwa internasional terkait dengan keislaman, dakwah tentu kita akan merespons. Sebagaimana visi misi kita dalam deklarasi tadi,” ucap Sekjen Forum Dai Internasional ASEAN.
