Ganjar menyatakan kedudukan pejabat sejajar dengan rakyat. Pasalnya, jabatan yang diemban oleh seseorang hanya sebuah amanah. “Meski saya memegang jabatan, bukan berarti saya lebih tinggi dari panjenengan.
Derajat kita sama, karena jabatan yang saya pegang ini cuma amanah. Jabatan yang saya emban ini, cuma mandat dari panjenengan semuanya,” ucap Ganjar.
Menurutnya, seorang pejabat publik akan kembali menjadi rakyat biasa saat masa jabatannya telah usai. “Maka setelah usai masanya, amanat dan mandat ini saya kembalikan kepada panjenengan semuanya,” tuturnya.
Dalam keterangan posting-an itu, Ganjar mengajak seluruh pihak dapat menjaga nilai demokrasi yang telah diwariskan para pendiri bangsa.
“Inilah warisan dari founding father Republik ini yang mesti kita jaga sebaik-baiknya dan sekuat-kuatnya. #TuankuRakyat #LanjutGan,” tulis Ganjar.
