Ganjar mengatakan hal tersebut setelah berdialog bersama para santriwati dalam Seminar Nasional Mewujudkan Indonesia Emas 2045 dengan tema ‘Transformasi dan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di Pesantren Dalam Mewujudkan Indonesia Emas 2045’.
Acara itu berlangsung di GOR Mbah Muqoyim Buntet Pesantren, Mertapada Kulon, Kecamatan Astanajapura, Kabupaten Cirebon, Selasa (1/8/2023) malam.
“Bagaimana kemudian dia (santriwati) harus mendorong dirinya sebagai perempuan muda yang akan nanti berada di masyarakat, dia tidak mau kalah juga sama laki-laki. Jadi kesetaraannya bagus,” kata Ganjar.
Ganjar meyakini ilmu agama dan spiritualitas santriwati Indonesia luar biasa.
Terlebih mereka belajar dari romo kiai dan ulama-ulama yang selalu mengajarkan konsep Islam rahmatan lil alamin dalam bingkai toleransi antarumat beragama.
Ganjar juga tidak meragukan kualitas dan intelektualitas santriwati. Sebab kini menurutnya, sudah banyak pondok pesantren yang menawarkan pendidikan teknologi informasi berbasis digital dengan segala prestasinya.
“Saya menemukan suasana kebatinan yang optimis dari anak-anak Indonesia, dari pondok pesantren yang tidak kalah juga dengan pengetahuan masyarakat yang ada di luar,” imbuhnya.

Dengan bekal keyakinan tersebut, Ganjar menekankan pentingnya pendidikan kepada ribuan santri/santriwati yang hadir. Apalagi pemerintah saat ini mendukung kemudahan akses pendidikan lewat berbagai program beasiswa.
“Tinggal kita bagaimana kita memberikan akses itu. Maka saya ceritakan bagaimana kemudahan akses pendidikan, jaminan pendidikan oleh pemerintah, dan kemudian jangan ada pungli di sekolahan. Ini membangun integritas yang ada,” imbuhnya.
Oleh karena itu, Ganjar mengajak seluruh santriwati di Indonesia untuk tekun belajar dan meraih pendidikan setinggi-tingginya dengan karakter yang kuat. Sehingga santriwati menjadi generasi unggul yang mampu mendorong perwujudan Indonesia Emas.

“Ini penyelenggaranya (acara seminar) pondok pesantren, pesantren sangat peduli sama pendidikan. Ini harus ketemu, menjadi suatu kebijakan, dan kita tinggal melaksanakan. Mereka mempunyai kesadaran bonus demografi yang harus menjadi deviden agar bisa mendapat keuntungan di Indonesia,” katanya.
