Arusberita.id – Konflik Hamas dan Israel yang kembali memanas bikin Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) khawatir. Dia mewanti-wanti perang ini akan menaikkan harga minyak mentah yang berdampak pada harga BBM di Indonesia.
Hal itu diutarakan Jokowi dalam acara Rapat Kerja Nasional Projo VI di Indonesia Arena, GBK, Jakarta, Sabtu (14/10).
“Ini nanti harga energi bisa naik gara-gara perang Palestina dan Israel harga energi itu artinya bensin, Pertamax, Pertalite. Saya bukan ingin menakut-nakuti, tapi bisa kejadian karena kalau perang enggak selesai pasti harga BBM global akan naik,” tutur Jokowi pada Sabtu (14/10).
Ketika terjadi konflik antarnegara, salah satu dampak yang umum ditimbulkan adalah terganggunya pasokan energi, termasuk dalam kasus konflik Israel dan Hamas. Selain krisis energi, Jokowi juga menyinggung krisis yang disebabkan oleh perang Rusia dengan Ukraina yang hingga kini belum rampung.
Konflik Israel- Hamas kali ini bermula saat Gerakan Perlawanan Palestina itu melancarkan serangan besar ke Israel pada Sabtu dini hari waktu setempat pada Sabtu (7/10). Serangan mendadak tersebut menggabungkan serangan bersenjata melintasi perbatasan bersama rentetan ribuan roket yang ditembakkan dari Jalur Gaza yang menewaskan ribuan orang.
Sebelumnya, Menteri ESDM Arifin Tasrif berharap harga minyak mentah tidak terus bergejolak imbas konflik Hamas dan Israel. Setelah sempat melonjak di atas USD 90 per barel, harga minyak mentah dunia kini semakin melandai.
Hingga Jumat (13/10), harga minyak mentah jenis WTI naik 5,77 persen ke posisi USD 87,69 per barel. Sementara jenis Brent naik 5,69 persen ke USD 90,89 per barel.
