Arusberita.id – Kasus cacar monyet atau monkeypox alias Mpox kini memang sedang menjadi sorotan publik. Belakangan ini, kasus cacar monyet di Indonesia telah bertambah dan kebanyakan ditemukan di DKI Jakarta.
Bahkan menurut informasi yang beredar, total kasus cacar monyet hingga Selasa (24/10/2023) telah mencapai 13 orang, 12 di antaranya masuk kategori kasus aktif atau pasien yang masih menjalani isolasi dan perawatan intensif.
Pada Senin (23/10/2023), Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) RI melalui siaran pers resmi menjelaskan bahwa kasus monkeypox di Indonesia bertambah akibat adanya perilaku seks berisiko.
Mengenai kabar tersebut, berikut Popmama.com telah merangkum informasinya secara detail.
1. Pasien yang terinfeksi monkeypox punya perilaku seks berisiko.
Dilansir dari siaran pers di laman Sehat Negeriku, Direktur Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, menerangkan bahwa pasien monkeypox memiliki faktor perilaku seks berisiko.
Adapun gejalanya ditandai dengan munculnya lesi dan ruam kemerahan, dan diikuti dengan demam, pembesaran kelenjar getah bening, nyeri tenggorokan, myalgia, ruam, dan sulit menelan.
2. 6 pasien monkeypox diketahui ODHIV dan punya orientasi biseksual
Sebelum bertambah pada 24 Oktober 2023, kasus konfirmasi monkeypox dilaporkan bertambah menjadi 7 kasus sejak pertama kali dilaporkan pada 13 Oktober 2023, atau 8 kasus sejak pertama kali terkonfirmasi di pertengahan 2022.
Maxi melalui siaran pers pada Senin (23/10/2023) mengatakan bahwa dari total kasus monkeypox yang terkonfirmasi berasal dari Jakarta. Data yang sama juga menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pasien terkonfirmasi monkeypox adalah laki-laki usia produktif.
Mayoritas atau sekitar 71 persen adalah laki-laki berusia 25-29 tahun, sementara 29 persen di antaranya adalah laki-laki berusia 30-39 tahun.
Dari hasil penelusuran, diketahui 6 pasien monkeypox juga merupakan Orang Dengan HIV (ODHIV), dan memiliki orientasi Biseksual.
“Untuk kondisinya, semua baik dan stabil. Kita pantau secara ketat dan terus-menerus. Saat ini kita juga sedang memonitor pihak-pihak yang melakukan kontak erat dengan pasien,” terang Maxi dalam siaran pers.
3. Kemenkes lakukan upaya penanggulangan
Menyusul dengan penambahan kasus tersebut, Maxi menjelaskan bahwa Kemenkes bergegas melakukan upaya penanggulangan. Setidaknya ada tiga upaya yang dilakukan, seperti upaya surveilans, terapeutik, dan vaksinasi.
Upaya surveilans dilakukan dengan penyelidikan epidemiologi dan penyiapan laboratorium pemeriksa. Sementara terapeutik dilakukan dengan memberikan terapi simtomatis, pemenuhan logistik antivirus khusus Mpox serta pemantauan kondisi pasien.
Selain itu, Kemenkes juga akan melakukan vaksinasi monkeypox, terutama pada populasi yang paling berisiko.
4. Lelaki yang melakukan seks berisiko jadi kriteria penerima vaksin
Vaksinasi monkeypox kabarnya dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 24 Oktober 2023 dengan jumlah sasaran sekitar 447 orang.
Dilansir dari siaran pers resmi Kemenkes, kriteria penerima vaksin monkeypox adalah laki-laki yang dalam 2 minggu terakhir melakukan hubungan seksual berisiko dengan sesama jenis dengan atau tanpa status ODHIV.
Vaksin tersebut kabarnya diberikan dalam 2 dosis dengan interval 4 minggu. Jenis vaksin yang akan digunakan adalah vaksin impor yang diproduksi oleh Bavarian Nordic, Denmark dengan merek dagang JYNNEOS kemasan single-dose.
“Stok vaksin Monkeypox kita aman. Saat ini, sebanyak 991 vial vaksin monkeypox sudah didistribusikan ke Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan program vaksinasi monkeypox yang akan mulai diberikan Oktober ini,” tutup Dirjen Maxi.
5. Publik diminta hindari hubungan seks berisiko
Melalui siaran langsung di Instagram Kementerian Kesehatan RI, Dokter Spesialis Dermatologi, Venerologi, dan Estetika RSUP Persahabatan, dr Adi Satriyo, turut angkat bicara mengenai kasus monkeypox yang kini semakin bertambah di Indonesia.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, dokter yang berpraktik di RSUP Persahabatan Jakarta itu meminta masyarakat untuk menghindari hubungan seksual yang berisiko untuk mencegah terjadinya penularan cacar monyet.
“Pertama, kita harus menghindari hubungan erat dengan mereka yang berisiko karena ini penyebarannya terutama dari hubungan seksual, kita harus menghindari hubungan seksual berisiko,” jelasnya, Senin (23/10/2023).
“Jadi, ini bukan terkait dengan cara melakukan aktivitas seksual, tidak. Jadi, hubungan seksual yang berisiko ini adalah hubungan seksual yang diluar pasangan, ya. Hubungan seksual berisiko, hubungan seksual yang di luar pasangan, dalam hal ini bisa dengan satu orang atau banyak,” sambungnya.
Selain itu, dia juga menjelaskan bahwa penularan virus ini juga bisa terjadi melalui kontak erat hingga benda mati di sekitar pasien. Akan tetapi, dia menegaskan bahwa angka penularan dari benda mati tersebut tidak terlalu tinggi.
