Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyampaikan sikap Indonesia yaitu penghentian tindak kekerasan di daerah konflik Palestina dan Israel.
Presiden mendesak agar perang dan tindak kekerasan yang terjadi di daerah konflik segera dihentikan guna menghindari jatuhnya korban lebih banyak lagi.
“Indonesia mendesak agar perang dan tindakan kekerasan segera dihentikan untuk menghindari makin bertambahnya korban manusia dan hancurnya harta benda karena eskalasi konflik dapat menimbulkan dampak kemanusiaan yang lebih besar,” ucapnya dalam Kanal YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, Selasa (10/10).
Selain itu, Jokowi juga mendorong agar akar permasalahan yang menimbulkan konflik Palestina dan Israel segera diselesaikan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah disepakati.
“Akar konflik tersebut yaitu pendudukan wilayah Palestina oleh Israel harus segera diselesaikan sesuai dengan parameter yang sudah disepakati PBB,” tambahnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kepala Negara juga menyampaikan upaya pemerintah dalam memastikan keselamatan warga negara Indonesia (WNI) di Palestina. Menurutnya, instruksi terkait pelindungan para WNI di daerah konflik telah disampaikan kepada jajaran kementerian terkait.
“Saya minta Menteri Luar Negeri dan jajaran kementerian terkait segera mengambil tindakan cepat untuk melindungi WNI yang berada di wilayah konflik,” ujarnya.
