Arusberita.id – Industri otomotif merupakan salah satu kontributor terbesar untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Saat ini, kekuatan industri otomotif di Indonesia setidaknya didukung oleh 26 perusahaan industri kendaraan bermotor roda empat dengan total kapasitas produksi mencapai 2,35 juta unit per tahun.
Industri otomotif juga telah menyerap tenaga kerja langsung sebanyak 38 ribu orang, serta lebih dari 1,5 juta orang yang bekerja di sepanjang rantai pasok otomotif dari tier 1 sampai 3.
Dilansir dari data Gaikindo, penjualan wholesales kendaraan bermotor roda empat atau lebih untuk domestik pada bulan Oktober 2023 tercatat sebanyak 80.270 unit dan secara kumulatif dari Januari hingga Oktober 2023 mencapai sebanyak 836.048 unit.
Kinerja Ekspor Otomotif
Di sisi kinerja ekspor sektor otomotif, jumlah mobil yang diekspor secara kumulatif untuk periode Januari hingga Oktober 2023 tercatat mencapai sebanyak 426.381 unit atau naik sekitar 10,9% jika dibandingkan periode sama tahun lalu yang sebesar 384.592 unit.
“Pengembangan industri Kendaraan Bermotor Listrik Berbasis Baterai (KBLBB) Indonesia saat ini mendapatkan momentum baik karena didukung kondisi Indonesia yang merupakan produsen bahan mineral logam nikel terbesar di dunia,” ujar Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto dalam acara Seremoni Produksi Perdana Omoda 5 Electric Vehicle (EV) dikutip Minggu (3/12/2023).
“Bahan tersebut banyak digunakan dalam ekosistem produksi kendaraan listrik sebagai bahan baku dari baterai kendaraan listrik,” lanjut dia.
Berkaitan dengan upaya percepatan produksi EV di Indonesia, Menko Airlangga mengapresiasi komitmen PT Chery Motor Indonesia dan PT Handal Indonesia Motor yang akan merealisasikan produksi kendaraan listrik di Indonesia. Kontribusi tersebut akan turut bermanfaat dalam pengembangan industri otomotif yang bertransformasi menuju era elektrifikasi dan ekosistem ramah lingkungan.
Produksi Perdana Omoda 5 EV

Menko Airlangga juga menyampaikan harapannya bahwa dengan dengan dimulainya produksi perdana mobil Omoda 5 EV ini akan dapat mendiversifikasi jenis mobil listrik di Indonesia dan memberikan alternatif pilihan yang lebih banyak bagi konsumen.
“Saya juga berharap kepada Chery Indonesia untuk mempertimbangkan produksi mobil listrik di Indonesia sebagai basis ekspor, antara lain untuk market Vietnam, Filipina, dan Australia. Karena ekosistem EV dan baterai sudah lengkap di sini, sehingga Indonesia cukup efisien sebagai produsen EV untuk pasar global. Maka itu, kami tunggu launching produknya, dan investasi lanjutan juga ditunggu Pemerintah,” kata Menko Airlangga.
Pengembangan kendaraan listrik di Indonesia akan semakin masif ke depannya seiring mengalirnya investasi dari pabrikan kendaraan listrik. Hingga awal Kuartal IV-2023, penjualan domestik mobil listrik tercatat mencapai sebesar 11.916 unit.
Berdasarkan kajian ERIA, potensi manfaat pada tahun 2040 yang didapatkan Indonesia melalui penghematan impor BBM dengan implementasi mobil listrik/BEV dapat mencapai USD15 miliar dan sepeda motor listrik USD10 miliar. Selain itu, Indonesia juga telah menjajaki potensi hydrogen fuel cell sebagai bagian dari upaya mempromosikan solusi energi berkelanjutan dan bersih tanpa emisi.
Implementasi KBLBB

Beberapa insentif telah dikeluarkan Pemerintah untuk mempercepat implementasi KBLBB di Indonesia, di antaranya yakni insentif bantuan untuk KBLBB roda dua baru dan konversi senilai Rp7 juta, kemudian insentif PPN-DTP untuk mobil dan bus listrik dengan nilai TKDN minimal 40% akan diberikan insentif PPN sebesar 10% untuk mobil listrik dan untuk bus listrik dengan TKDN lebih dari 20%-40% diberikan insentif PPN sebesar 5%.
“Dengan produk yang sudah menggunakan local content mencapai 40%, kami berharap Chery akan dapat penetrasi ke market lebih cepat dengan fasilitasi fiskal dari Pemerintah,” pungkas Menko Airlangga.
Turut hadir dalam acara ini antara lain yakni Deputi Bidang Koordinasi Perniagaan dan Industri Kemenko Perekonomian, Staf Khusus Menko Perekonomian, Deputy Governor of Anhui Province Republik Rakyat Tiongkok, Chairman of Chery International, Presiden Direktur PT Chery Motor Indonesia, dan Wakil Komisaris Utama PT Handal Indonesia Motor.
