Arusberita.id – Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno menyebut, Indonesia menyiapkan berbagai event olahraga level internasional untuk tahun 2025.
Hal itu diungkap Sandi seusai rapat internal bersama Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan Jakarta, Selasa kemarin.
Salah satu yang dibicarakan adalah mekanisme pendanaannya yang nanti akan diupayakan sebagian bisa didanai melalui Indonesia Quality Tourism Fund dan sebagian lagi akan menggunakan RAPBN 2025.
“Baru saja kita mendapat arahan di rapat internal untuk menyiapkan event-event olahraga tingkat dunia atau internasional untuk tahun 2025. Dan arahannya adalah mendatangkan event olahraga berkualitas dalam bingkai sport Tourism,” ujar Sandi.
Beberapa event yang diusulkan adalah World Shurfer league, Moto GP, MXGP, F1 Power Boat, Aquabike, ada UFC, dan beberapa event kompetisi internasional lainnya seperti Gymnastic atau kompetisi senam sedunia yang akan diadakan di Jakarta dan beberapa kota.
Ada pula event World Shurfer League yang akan diajukan di 7 titik mengingat Indonesia memiliki keindahan pantai dengan ombak terbaik di dunia. Ia juga mengusulkan untuk event MotoGP dan MXGP bisa turut berpartisipasi menyebarluaskan keindahan alam di NTB.
“Jadi nanti akan disebar di 7 lokasi, yang tentunya nanti akan dipusatkan di beberapa daerah menjadi sebuah festival,” bebernya.
“Kami juga usulkan MotoGP dan MXGP membuat NTB, bukan hanya Mandalika sebagai destinasi super prioritas tapi juga memusatkan kepada olahraga otomotif tingkat dunia,” tambah Sandi.
Lebih lanjut ia optimistis event-event internasional ini dapat menggerakkan ekonomi bila penyelenggaraannya efisien dan seefektif mungkin. Ia menegaskan event olahraga bertaraf internasional di tahun 2025 mendatang harus berorientasi untuk menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat.
“Seperti kita ketahui, ruang fiskal kita terbatas dan sedang diupayakan lebih fleksibel di 2025 untuk menghadapi tantangan-tantangan ekonomi,” tandasnya.
