Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menghadiri groundbreaking Nusantara Superblock di Ibu Kota Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim). Investasi pada Nusantara Superblock ini mencapai Rp 3 triliun.
“Saya sangat senang karena ada investor dari Kaltim, investor dari Balikpapan yang ikut berperan dalam pembangunan ibu kota Nusantara. dan investasinya gede. Rp 3 triliun,” ujar Jokowi dalam siaran langsung YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, Rabu (20/12/2023).
Sejumlah bangunan di Nusantara Superblock bakal dibangun. Salah satunya hotel bintang 5.
“Yang akan dibangun juga bukan barang yang kecil. Lahannya 7,5 hektare, kemudian pusat perbelanjaan 40.000 meter persegi, hotel bintang 5nya 215 kamar, hotel bintang 4-nya 200 kamar, kemudian masih ditambah apartemen 8 tower, kemudian office building 2 tower dan juga sekolah internasional dan juga tempat hiburan,” kata Jokowi.
Jokowi sangat mengapresiasi investasi besar ini. Ia berharap desain bangunan dari investor Kaltim tak kalah bagus dari investor Jakarta.
“Saya titip saja satu untuk desain green building. karena yang ingin kita bangun kawasan di seluruh ibu kota Nusantara kawasan hijau. Lingkungan hijau. Jadi konsepnya berbeda dengan kota-kota yang ada di seluruh dunia. Ini nanti bisa disampaikan ke pak kepala otorita desainnya biar nanti dibimbing dikurasi Pak Ridwan Kamil, biar konsepnya sama, kawasan hijau, lingkungan hijau dan green building,” papar Jokowi.
Ia berharap pembangunan Nusantara Superblock bisa meningkatkan perekonomian di Kalimantan Timur. Dengan begitu, lapangan pekerjaan terbuka lebar di sana.
“Superblock Nusantara ini betul-betul akan jadi daya tarik di IKN dan menjadikan ibu kota IKN sebagai ibu kota negara berkelas dunia yang berbeda dengan ibu kota-ibu kota negara lain,” tuturnya.
“Dengan mengucapkan bismillahirrahmanirrahim pada sore hari ini, pada siang hari ini meletakkan batu pertama groundbreaking Nusantara Superblock secara resmi saya menyatakan dimulai,” tambahnya.
