Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko “Jokowi” Widodo menegaskan hilirisasi tidak boleh berhenti, khususnya untuk yang sudah berlangsung pada komoditas nikel karena diharapkan bisa menghasilkan produk turunan hingga kendaraan listrik. Tak cuma itu, Jokowi bahkan berharap hilirisasi bisa diperluas.
“Hilirisasi sudah dimulai tidak boleh berhenti, baik di urusan mineral, nikel sudah jalan. Dari mulai turunan di katoda, prekursor, nanti EV baterai, melompat lagi menjadi electric vehicle, begitu juga dengan tembaga,” kata Jokowi saat mengunjungi PT Smelting di Gresik seperti disiarkan di Youtube Sekretariat Presiden, Kamis (14/12/2023).
1. Hilirisasi hasilkan nilai tambah
Hiliriasasi komoditas tembaga pun saat ini masih berjalan. Hilirisasi industri di dalam negeri memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan nilai tambah dengan memperkuat struktur industri, serta menyediakan lapangan kerja dan peluang usaha di dalam negeri.
“Tembaga, kita lihat dari anoda, katoda, nanti kemudian bisa ke copper foil dan turunan lainnya harus ditarik ke Indonesia. Sehingga, nilai tambah itu ada di dalam negeri, indonesia. Dan, bisa menciptakan nilai kerja terbuka di Indonesia, bukan negara lain,” jelas Jokowi.
2. Hilirisasi bakal diperluas ke sektor perkebunan
Photo by Tatag Wicaksono from PexelsMenurutnya, hilirisasi tak akan berhenti hanya di komoditas nikel dan tembaga, tapi akan diperluas ke komoditas perkebunan. Dengan diperluas, menurut Jokowi, Indonesia bisa berubah menjadi negara produsen.
Lewat cara seperti itu, Jokowi yakin kekuatan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia akan bergeser, tak lagi dari sisi konsumsi, melainkan produksi.
“Hilirisasi tidak hanya berhenti di tembaga, nikel. Kita lari ke bauksit, timah, batu bara, komoditas perkebunan, pertanian, kelautan, dan perikanan, semuanya,” ujar Jokowi.
3. Hilirisasi nikel digoreng saat tahun politik
Menteri Investasi/Kepala BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia dalam diskusi di Media Center Indonesia Maju, Jakarta, Senin (11/12/2023).Menteri Investasi/Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia, menyebut ada pihak-pihak yang sengaja menggoreng isu hilirisasi nikel di tahun politik. Tujuannya, kata dia, tak lain supaya pemerintah kembali membuka keran ekspor nikel, tanpa harus melalui proses hilirisasi.
Eks Ketua Umum Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) itu pun mempertanyakan nasionalisme warga negara Indonesia yang justru mengkritik kebijakan hilirisasi nikel.
“Ada udang di balik batu yang sengaja, satu kelompok, tentu memakai tangan orang lain untuk menekan Indonesia agar ruang itu dibuka. Nah, ini tahun politik soalnya, digoreng ini barang,” kata Bahlil dalam diskusi di Media Center Indonesia Maju, Jakarta, Senin (11/12/2023).
