Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memastikan stok beras pemerintah aman untuk menjaga stabilitas harga di pasaran.
Ia mengungkapkan saat ini cadangan beras pemerintah (CBP) yang dikelola Bulog ada 1,6 juta ton. Namun, jumlah tersebut akan bertambah 400 ribu ton menjadi 2 juta ton.
“Biasanya stok kita itu hanya 1,2 (juta ton). Normal 1,2 juta (ton). Ini kita memiliki 2 juta (ton) sehingga kita tidak usah khawatir,” ujar Jokowi saat meninjau Gudang Bulog Dramaga, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Senin (11/9).
Pemimpin negara menerangkan seluruh negara sedang mengalami kekeringan el nino, termasuk Indonesia. Setidaknya ada 7 provinsi yang diperkirakan menghadapi kekeringan di Indonesia.
“Oleh sebab itu, saya datang ke gudang-gudang Bulog di sini, nanti di Jakarta, mungkin nanti di daerah untuk memastikan bahwa stoknya itu ada,” ujarnya.
Untuk memastikan ketersediaan stok, pemerintah juga membuka keran impor dari luar. Terakhir, Jokowi memastikan impor beras dari Kamboja sebesar 250 ribu ton.
Lalu, tidak menutup kemungkinan akan kembali mengimpor lagi untuk mengamankan stok.
“Ini untuk memastikan bahwa kita memiliki cadangan strategis stok. Harus untuk menjaga agar tidak terjadi kenaikan karena memang produksi pasti turun karena el nino,” terangnya.
Selain itu, per 1 September lalu, Jokowi juga sudah memerintahkan untuk mempercepat penyaluran bantuan pangan ke masyarakat. Dengan demikian, masyarakat bisa terhindar dari kenaikan harga beras dan pemerintah bisa meredam inflasi.
“Setiap bulan kira-kira 210 ribu ton dikeluarkan oleh Bulog untuk bantuan pangan itu dan ini sudah dimulai terus September, Oktober, November,” ujarnya.
Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional Arief Prasetyo Adi sebelumnya mengatakan bansos beras diberikan untuk 21,35 juta keluarga penerima manfaat (KPM) dengan total anggaran Rp8 triliun.
Setiap KPM masing-masing akan mendapatkan 10 kg beras per bulan atau 30 kg beras selama tiga bulan.
