Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo atau Jokowi mengatakan, pengungsi Rohingya yang terdampar di Indonesia akan ditampung sementara. Namun, dia tak menjawab di mana para pengungsi Rohingya akan ditampung.
“Saya sampaikan bahwa sementara, sementara kita tampung, sementara,” kata Jokowi di Stasiun Pompa Ancol Sentiong Jakarta Utara, Senin (11/12/2023).
“Karena kita masih berbicara dengan organisasi-organisasi internasional UNHCR dan lain-lain untuk karena memang masyarakat lokal tidak menginginkannya (pengungsi Rohingya),” tutur Jokowi.
Sebelumnya, Presiden Jokowi mengatakan pemerintah akan memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan sementara untuk pengungsi Rohingya yang sudah terlanjur tiba di Indonesia. Namun, Jokowi memastikan bantuan tersebut akan mengutamakan kepentingan masyarakat lokal.
“Bantuan kemanusiaan sementara kepada pengungsi akan diberikan dengan mengutamakan kepentingan masyarakat lokal,” kata Jokowi dalam konferensi pers di Youtube Sekretariat Presiden, Jumat (8/12/2023).
Jokowi menuturkan pemerintah akan Indonesia akan terus berkoordinasi dengan organisasi internasional untuk menangani masalah pengungsi Rohingya.
Jokowi juga mengungkapkan adanya dugaan kuat keterlibatan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) dibalik banyaknya pengungsi Rohingya ke Indonesia. Dia menekankan pemerintah akan menindak tegas pelaku TPPO tersebut.
“Saya memperoleh laporan mengenai pengungsi Rohingya yang semakin banyak yang masuk ke wilayah Indonesia, terutama Provinsi Aceh. Terdapat dugaan kuat ada keterlibatan jaringan TPPO dalam arus pengungsian ini,” jelas dia.
“Pemerintah Indonesia akan menindak tegas pelaku TPPO,” sambung Jokowi.
Menteri Hukum dan HAM (Menkumham), Yasonna Laoly juga mengatakan, ratusan pengungsi itu merupakan korban dari mafia. Hal ini, kata Yasonna, berdasarkan temuan Polri yang mengungkap dugaan tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) terhadap pengungsi Rohingya.
“Memang ini adalah sindikat, sudah (ada yang) ditangkap polisi. Karena mereka juga adalah korban-korban dari mafia-mafia yang membawa mereka,” kata Yasonna dilansir dari Antara, Senin (11/12/2023).
Yasonna menduga, ada pengungsi-pengungsi yang menjual harta bendanya kemudian datang ke Indonesia dengan ditawarkan iming-iming kehidupan yang lebih layak.
“Tapi sekarang kita lihat reaksi sosial dari masyarakat kita (yang menolak). Perbedaan kultur, perbedaan budaya selalu terjadi,” jelasnya.
Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum dan Keamanan (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud Md memastikan, pulau Galang, Kota Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau tidak akan menjadi tempat pengungsi Rohingya.
“Ndak (pengungsi Rohingya di pulau Galang), justru jangan sampai seperti Pulau Galang,” kata Mahfud dilansir dari Antara, Minggu (10/12/2023).
Mahfud tidak menjelaskan secara rinci alasan menolak Pulau Galang sebagai lokasi pengungsian warga Rohingya. Hingga saat ini Mahfud beserta jajarannya masih berupaya mencari lokasi pengungsian di tempat lain.
Salah satu upayanya yakni meminta Menteri Dalam Negeri Tito Karnavian untuk berkomunikasi dengan pemerintah Provinsi Aceh, Sumatera Utara, dan Riau untuk membahas lokasi untuk penampung pengungsi Rohingya.
“Forkopimda tiga provinsi, Aceh Sumatra Utara dan Riau akan dikoordinir oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri untuk membicarakan itu,” ucap Mahfud.
Sebelumnya, Wakil Presiden (Wapres) RI, Ma’ruf Amin membuka kemungkinan untuk menampung para pengungsi Rohingya di Pulau Galang, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
Hal ini disampaikan Ma’ruf Amin usai menghadiri Peluncuran Indonesia Sharia Economic Outlook (ISEO) 2024 dan Peresmian Universitas Indonesia Industrial Government (I-GOV) Ke-3 Tahun 2023 di Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Jawa Barat, Selasa 5 Desember 2023.
“Penempatannya di mana? Dulu kita punya Pulau Galang, nanti kita bicarakan lagi apa akan seperti itu,” kata Ma’ruf Amin dilansir dari Antara, Rabu (6/12/2023).
Ia mengatakan, kedatangan pengungsi Rohingya yang kini mendapatkan penolakan dari masyarakat di Aceh merupakan permasalahan kemanusiaan yang harus ditanggulangi bersama antar-pemangku kepentingan.
Pemerintah Indonesia juga mengagendakan pembahasan solusi tersebut dengan Komisariat Tinggi PBB urusan Pengungsi (UNHCR) yang memiliki tanggung jawab atas masalah pengungsian.
