Arusberita.id – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) resmikan dua rumah sakit TNI yang telah siap untuk digunakan oleh masyarakat, yakni Rumah Sakit Tk.III Brawijaya dan Rumah Sakit Angkatan Laut Tk.II dr. Soekantyo Jahja, pada hari Minggu 22 Oktober 2023.
“Alhamdulillah hari ini akan kita resmikan dua rumah sakit TNI yaitu Rumah Sakit Tk.III Brawijaya dan Rumah Sakit Angkatan Laut Tk.II dr. Soekantyo Jahja yang sudah siap untuk dimanfaatkan,” ucap Presiden dalam sambutannya di Rumah Sakit Tk.III Brawijaya, Kota Surabaya, Provinsi Jawa Timur.
Presiden menuturkan bahwa kapasitas tempat tidur serta sejumlah fasilitas kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Tk.III Brawijaya telah ditingkatkan agar kemampuan pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan rumah sakit tersebut turut meningkat.
“Kapasitas bed-nya bertambah, peralatan juga lebih modern, fasilitas pelayanan juga lebih lengkap, dan dengan berbagai penambahan fasilitas tersebut, kemampuan Rumah Sakit Tk.III Brawijaya telah ditingkatkan,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, dengan penambahan dan peningkatan fasilitas tersebut juga diharapkan dapat meningkatakan pelayanan kesehatan hingga memperluas akses pelayanan kesehatan tidak hanya untuk prajurit TNI, tetapi juga untuk masyarakat umum.
“Penambahan fasilitas kesehatan ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan kepada prajurit dan juga masyarakat umum, memberikan akses pelayanan kesehatan makin luas dan makin terbuka terhadap para prajurit TNI dan seluruh masyarakat kita,” imbuhnya.
Oleh karena itu, Kepala Negara berpesan agar rumah sakit dengan fasilitas yang cukup bagus tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk melayani para prajurit TNI dan seluruh lapisan masyarakat.
“Dengan pelayanan yang cepat, aman, dan nyaman,” tandasnya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden yakni Menteri Pertahanan Prabowo Subianto, Menteri Investasi/Kepala BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Abdullah Azwar Anas, Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono, Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo, dan Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indar Parawansa.
