Arusberita.id – Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto membenarkan bahwa Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memuji Ganjar Pranowo, bakal calon presiden (capres) PDI-P, dalam pembukaan rapat kerja nasional (Rakernas) yang digelar secara tertutup. Jokowi yakin bahwa Ganjar bisa mengemudikan Indonesia menjadi negara maju. Selain itu, Jokowi juga memuji gaya komunikasi Ganjar yang sangat baik pada masyarakat. Hal ini disampaikan Hasto sebagai respons terhadap video yang viral di media sosial tentang Jokowi yang memuji Ganjar.
Akibatnya, Hasto melihat bahwa Jokowi benar-benar menganggap Ganjar sebagai sosok pemimpin yang disiapkan olehnya. Hasto kemudian mengungkit bagaimana Jokowi pernah menyebut sosok pemimpin yang memikirkan rakyat, contohnya memiliki rambut putih dan wajah berkerut yang menunjukkan dedikasi dan keberanian untuk bekerja keras demi rakyat. Menurut Hasto, langkah selanjutnya yang harus diambil PDI-P adalah bersama-sama mewujudkan Ganjar menjadi Presiden yang melanjutkan kepemimpinan Jokowi mengingat kesinambungan kepemimpinan PDI-P sejak era Presiden Pertama RI Soekarno.
Hasto juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas dukungan Jokowi dan mengatakan bahwa apa yang disampaikan Jokowi menunjukkan bahwa Ganjar memiliki modal yang sangat kuat sebagai calon pemimpin bangsa. Selain itu, Hasto menegaskan, Jokowi juga memberikan berbagai agenda dan langkah strategis yang harus dilakukan partai
