Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menekankan empat poin mengenai pembangunan negara berkembang dalam forum Indonesia-Afrika (IAF) 2024. Jokowi juga menekankan pentingnya solidaritas internasional untuk menciptakan perubahan positif di tengah tantangan dunia.
“Kita semua hendak menciptakan perubahan positif di tengah dunia yang penuh dengan tantangan, baik tantangan terkait terlambatan ekonomi tingkat pengangguran dan inflasi yang belum membaik, maupun ketegangan geopolitik yang terus berlanjut yang telah menimbulkan banyak korban jiwa dan mengganggu rantai pasok global, namun yang sangat disayangkan di saat seperti ini solidaritas internasional justru menurun,” ujar Jokowi saat membuka Forum IAF, Bali, Senin (2/9/2024).
“Semangat multilateralisme justru semakin dikesampingkan dan fragmentasi semakin melebar, dan pada akhirnya negara-negara berkembang adalah yang paling terdampak, jutaan rakyat negara berkembang adalah yang paling merasakan kesulitan. Padahal hanya tersisa enam tahun menuju 2030. Dan baru 17% target SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) tercapai,” imbuhnya.
Menurut Jokowi, di tengah tantangan tersebut negara-negara berkembang perlu menyusun strategi baru dan langkah taktis baru untuk mewujudkan pembangunan yang lebih adil dan inklusif bagi negara-negara berkembang. Oleh karena itu, Jokowi menekankan empat poin, poin pertama target SDGs menjadi fokus pembangunan global.
“Pertama, pencapaian target SDGs harus tetap menjadi fokus utama pembangunan global, yang diselaraskan dengan prioritas pembangunan nasional dan regional, termasuk agenda 2063 Afrika dan didukung kemitraan multi-pihak,” ujar Jokowi.
Poin kedua, Indonesia berkomitmen menjadi jembatan diplomasi dalam memperjuangkan keadilan. Dia mengatakan komitmen ini dipegang sejak Konferensi Asia Afrika 69 tahun lalu.
“Kedua, Indonesia berkomitmen menjadi bagian solusi global, membela kepentingan global south sekaligus menjadi bridge builder dalam memperjuangkan kesetaraan, keadilan, dan solidaritas dalam mempercepat pencapaian SDG. Ini adalah komitmen yang konsisten Indonesia usung, sejak konferensi Asia Afrika 69 tahun yang lalu,” katanya.
Dia juga menyatakan Indonesia siap bermitra dengan siapapun. Poin terakhir, Jokowi mengingatkan agar solidaritas global kembali dihidupkan untuk meningkatkan kerja sama.
“Ketiga, Indonesia siap bermitra dengan siapapun, utamanya dengan kawasan Afrika sebagai kunci agenda pembangunan global, hasil kemitraan Indonesia-Afrika sejauh ini sangat nyata membawa peningkatan pesat volume perdagangan, dan berbagai kesepakatan perjanjian perdagangan, bahkan Indonesia Afrika forum tahun ini telah mencatat kesepakatan bisnis yang nilainya mencapai 3,5 miliar USD, hampir enam kali lipat dari IAF pertama di tahun 2018,” ungkap Jokowi.
“Keempat, solidaritas global perlu dihidupkan kembali untuk meningkatkan kerja sama selatan-selatan, untuk meningkatkan kerjasama utara-selatan, sehingga kita dapat saling melengkapi, dapat saling bahu membahu dalam mengatasi tantangan-tantangan global,” sambungnya.
Jokowi juga mengungkapkan tahun depan Indonesia akan menyelenggarakan acara untuk memperingati 70 tahun KTT Asia Afrika. “Dan dengan semangat yang sama, tahun depan Indonesia akan menyelenggarakan Platinum Jubilee of the Asean African Conference memperingati 70 tahun KTT Asia Afrika,” katanya.
