Arusberita.id – Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat, jumlah penduduk miskin di Indonesia menurun pada Maret 2023.
Persentase penduduk miskin mencapai sebesar 9,36% atau mencapai 25,9 juta orang. Jumlah tersebut turun 460.000 jiwa jika dibandingkan September 2022 dan turun 260.000 jiwa jika dibandingkan dengan Maret 2022.
Kepala Badan Kebijakan Fiskal (BKF) Kementerian Keuangan Febrio Nathan Kacaribu mengatakan, penurunan angka kemiskinan tersebut sejalan dengan terus menguatnya aktivitas ekonomi, menurunnya angka pengangguran, serta inflasi yang semakin terkendali.
Selain itu, penyaluran bansos kuartal I 2023 juga efektif dengan realisasi Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) mencapai 89,3%, sementara Kartu Sembako mencapai 86,5%.
Selain itu, Dia menyampaikan pada Maret 2023, Pemerintah juga menggulirkan tambahan bantuan pangan beras dalam rangka menjaga akses pangan rumah tangga miskin dan rentan serta menjaga stabilitas harga pangan.
“Pemerintah terus berkomitmen untuk mendorong percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi, menciptakan kesempatan kerja yang lebih luas, dan menjaga stabilitas inflasi sehingga dapat mengakselerasi penurunan tingkat kemiskinan hingga di bawah level prapandemi,” tutur Febrio dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Selasa (‘18/7).
Dia menambahkan, tren penurunan kemiskinan ini juga sejalan dengan fokus kebijakan jangka pendek Pemerintah untuk mempercepat penurunan kemiskinan ekstrem menjadi 0% pada tahun 2024 mendatang.
“Dalam jangka panjang, penurunan kemiskinan akan menjadi pijakan untuk mencapai cita-cita Indonesia menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi sebelum tahun 2045,” imbuhnya.
Adapun penurunan tingkat kemiskinan ini melanjutkan tren penurunan menjadi 9,36% per Maret 2023 (September 2022: 9,57%) setelah sempat menyentuh angka dua digit akibat krisis pandemi.
Jumlah penduduk miskin pada Maret 2023 adalah sebesar 25,90 juta orang, menurun 0,46 juta orang dari September 2022. Secara akumulatif, sejak Maret 2021 hingga Maret 2023 tercatat 1,6 juta orang yang berhasil keluar dari garis kemiskinan. Secara spasial, tingkat kemiskinan per Maret 2023 menurun baik di perkotaan maupun di pedesaan.
