Arusberita.id – Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika RI menyelenggarakan Kick-Off Program Indonesia Makin Cakap Digital (IMCD) 2024.
Langkah ini untuk terus meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat dalam rangka membangun kualitas talenta digital.
“Tahun 2024, Kominfo terus fokus dalam komitmen untuk melanjutkan Indonesia Makin Cakap Digital demi menyongsong Indonesia Emas 2045-2046,” ujar Direktur Jenderal Aplikasi Informatika Kemenkominfo Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan pada kegiatan Kick Off Program IMCD 2024 di Hotel Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (19/2/2024).
Semuel berharap para penyedia dapat menargetkan masyarakat yang masih belum terpapar sama sekali.
Dirinya mengatakan program literasi digital hadir untuk mengakomodir mereka yang belum mendapatkan literasi di bidang digital.
“Maka dari itu, pemilihan peserta dalam kegiatan haruslah diperhitungkan. Kita harus fokus kepada mereka yang belum terpapar literasi dibidang digital, sehingga tidak ada yang ketinggalan,” katanya.
Seperti tahun sebelumnya, program IMCD 2024 memberikan literasi kepada masyarakat tentang Empat Pilar Literasi Digital, yaitu Kecakapan Digital (Digital Skill), Keamanan Digital (Digital Safety), Budaya Digital (Digital Culture), dan Etika Digital (Digital Ethics).
Keempat pilar tersebut menjadi hal penting agar masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan teknologi digital dengan lebih baik.
“Yang diharapkan adalah para peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan dapat memahami 4 pilar literasi digital sehingga dapat lebih berkegiatan di ruang digital dengan aman, nyaman, dan semakin produktif,” tutur Semuel.
Sementara itu, Direktur Pemberdayaan Informatika, Slamet Santoso, berharap program ini dapat mencapai target 30.000.000 orang yang mendapatkan literasi digital.
Orang-orang inilah yang nantinya diharapkan dapat menyampaikan Empat Pilar Literasi Digital kepada lingkungan sekitarnya.
“Harapannya kalau 30.000.000 orang terpapar materi yang disampaikan para praktisi dan narasumber dapat disampaikan ke orang-orang di sekelilingnya yang nantinya dapat meningkatkan angka paparan literasi digital menjadi hampir 90 persen masyarakat Indonesia,” katanya.
Kemenkominfo tetap mengusulkan IMCD sebagai program periode 2025-2029 yang diharapkan dapat hadir dengan tingkat yang lebih advanced.
