Arusberita.id – Teknologi digital memiliki peran penting untuk memajukan Indonesia. Penerapan teknologi digital ini memiliki tantangan yang besar untuk menyelesaikan sejumlah isu krusial di masyarakat.
Salah satu isu krusial adalah adanya kesenjangan digital (digital gap) yang masih cukup lebar di berbagai lapisan masyarakat.
Merujuk kajian Kemkominfo (Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika) rata-rata kebutuhan talenta digital sebanyak 458.043 per tahun dalam kurun waktu 2025-2030.
Selain itu, permasalahan adalah adanya masalah ketidaksetaraan (relasi asimetris) antara platform dan konten. Sebagai contoh, media pers resmi yang diatur ketat, sedangkan media sosial justru bebas sekali dalam menyiarkan konten.
Sementara dari aspek perilaku publik warganet Indonesia, dari 300 orang hanya ada orang yang memiliki kesadaran keamanan digital.
Selain itu, pemilik akun hanya memiliki satu password untuk banyak platform online, log in tapi tidak log out ketika berselancar di dunia digital.
Melihat kondisi tersebut, diskusi konstruktif mengenai ekosistem digital pun dilakukan ketika audiensi ATVI (Akademi Televisi Indonesia) dengan Wamenkominfo (Wakil Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika) Nezar Patria.
“Kampus berhadapan dengan kondisi masyarakat yang dikontrol oleh digital. Pemerintah, industri, dan kampus adalah kekuatan kolaborasi untuk menjawab persoalan dari produksi dan distribusi konten serta dampak sosialnya,” tutur Wamekominfo Nezar.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Wamenkominfo didampingi oleh Dirjen Aptika Hokky Situngkir bersama Kepala BPSDM Kominfo Hary Budiarto. Pada kesempatan itu, ATVI juga mengungkapkan sejumlah rencana.
Bangun Sinergi Inklusif
Salah satunya adalah ATVI yang sedang bertransformasi menjadi IMDE (Institut Media Digital EMTEK) akan bekerja sama dengan Politeknik Multimedia di Yogyakarta yang merupakan PTKL (Perguruan Tinggi Kementerian/Lembaga) di bawah Kemenkominfo.
Adapun kerja sama itu dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan sertifikasi para profesional di bidang konten digital. ATVI juga akan mendukung pemerintah dalam upaya membangun sejumlah sinergi inklusif dengan berbagai pihak.
Dengan pemerintah, ATVI bertanggung jawab dalam kebijakan mendukung pengembangan infrastruktur digital.
Sementara sebagai pelaku utama pengembangan teknologi, industri memiliki peran penting menciptakan inovasi bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi digital.
Lalu di bidang pendidikan, kampus berkontribusi menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten di bidang digital serta membekali pembuatan konten yang kreatif dan bertanggung jawab.
Bangun Ruang Diskusi
“Apa yang terjadi dalam masyarakat akibat teknologi digital menjadi refleksi,” tutur Nezar. Warganet memiliki akses untuk melakukan penilaian lewat media digital tanpa metodologi, tapi berdampak nyata dalam masyarakat.
Menurutnya, broadcasting telah menjadi narrowcasting yakni konten saat ini dikonsumsi secara simultan dengan waktu konsumsi konten sama seperti di media konvensional. Namun, kendali ada pada audiens.
Oleh sebab itu, Nezar menuturkan, perlu ruang diskusi dari ketiga perspektif antara pemerintah, industri, dan kampus untuk mendefinisikan kembali broadcasting.
Untuk menjawab tantangan digital di masa depan, ia mengatakan, diperlukan growth mindset untuk kreatif.
“Kolaborasi yang erat antara pemerintah, industri, dan kampus menjadi sangat penting untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang ada dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimiliki,” tutur Direktur ATVI Totok Amin Soefijanto.
