Arusberita.id – Usai beredar konten berupa video di media sosial berupa pidato Presiden Joko Widodo dalam bahasa Mandarin dengan fasih, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) mengungkap teknik pembuatannya.
Direktur Jenderal Aplikasi Informatika Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Semuel A. Pangerapan menegaskan bahwa video itu merupakan hasil suntingan yang menyesatkan.
“Video yang beredar tersebut disertai narasi ‘Jokowi berbahasa Mandarin’. Itu hasil suntingan yang menyesatkan,” ujarnya, di Jakarta, Kamis (26/10) dalam keterangan pers.

Menurut Dirjen Semuel, hasil penelusuran Tim AIS Kementerian Kominfo menemukan kesamaan dengan video yang diunggah oleh kanal YouTube The U.S. – Indonesia Society (USINDO) pada 13 November 2015 lalu.
“Secara visual, video tersebut identik, tetapi telah disunting sedemikian rupa yang diduga memanfaatkan teknologi artificial intelligence (AI) deepfake,” ungkapnya.
Semuel mengatakan video aslinya adalah saat Jokowi berpidato di ajang Gala yang digelar oleh US Chamber of Commerce, US-ASEAN Business Council, Oktober 2015.
Presiden Joko Widodo tidak menggunakan bahasa Mandarin saat pidato, namun membacakan teks berbahasa Inggris. Video aslinya bisa dilihat di tautan berikut.
“Ini adalah bentuk disinformasi,” cetus Semuel.
Ia pun mengimbau agar masyarakat berhati-hati ketika mendapatkan informasi yang dapat dimanipulasi. Bahkan mengingatkan agar tidak ikut menyebarluaskan konten hoaks atau disinformasi dalam bentuk apapun melalui platform digital.
“Kominfo mengimbau masyarakat untuk berhati-hati ketika mendapatkan informasi yang dapat dimanipulasi dan/atau diselewengkan, serta selalu merujuk sumber-sumber tepercaya seperti situs pemerintah dan/atau media yang kredibel,” tandas dia.
Sebelumnya, video itu diunggah salah satu akun Twitter alias X dengan alasan untuk pembelajaran agar tak mudah percaya video yang beredar karena deepfake mudah dibuat apalagi di tahun politik.
Kini, unggahan itu sudah dihapus.
