Arusberita.id – Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) menargetkan 30 juta pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mengadopsi teknologi digital pada 2024 melalui Program UMKM Level Up.
“Di Indonesia telah ada 27 juta UMKM yang mengadopsi teknologi digital, dan kami menargetkan angka ini akan meningkat menjadi 30 juta UMKM pada 2024,” ujar Wakil Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Wamenkominfo), Nezar Patria, dalam keterangannya terkait Workshop UMKM Level Up di Kota Banda Aceh, Provinsi Nangroe Aceh Darussalam, seperti dilansir pada Selasa (6/8/2024).
Nezar Patria menjelaskan, berdasarkan data pemerintah, saat ini 67 persen pelaku UMKM masih berjuang untuk mempertahankan bisnis mereka.
Oleh karena itu, Kementerian Kominfo berupaya memberikan solusi dengan memfasilitasi program adopsi teknologi digital bagi UMKM.
“Memang tidak mudah berhadapan dengan tekanan bisnis jangka pendek, keterbatasan keahlian, dan sumber daya yang belum memiliki kompetensi dalam adopsi teknologi baru,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, Nezar Patria menegaskan bahwa digitalisasi akan membuka berbagai peluang bisnis, memperluas akses pasar, dan meningkatkan produktivitas pelaku UMKM.
Bahkan, digitalisasi dapat meminimalkan risiko fisik karena menerapkan metode penyimpanan data dengan komputasi awan (cloud).
“Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini adalah melalui adopsi teknologi digital, dan inilah yang menjadi tema kita pada Workshop UMKM Level Up kali ini,” jelasnya.
Menurut Wamenkominfo, UMKM menyumbang hingga 70 persen lapangan kerja di Indonesia, sehingga berkontribusi penting dalam perekonomian nasional.
“Sektor informal inilah yang kita harapkan dapat menjadi penopang Indonesia di tengah krisis harga, seperti yang terbukti saat pandemi COVID-19,” tandas Wamenkominfo.
Turut hadir dalam acara itu Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Sekretaris Daerah Aceh Zulkifli, Kepala Dinas Kominfo Provinsi Aceh Marwan Yusuf, Asisten Ekonomi Pembangunan Sekretaris Kota Banda Aceh Fadhil, Kepala Dinas Koperasi, UKM & Perdagangan Kota Banda Aceh Samsul Bahri, serta pelaku UMKM Banda Aceh.
