“Saya ucapkan terima kasih, rangkaian kegiatan teman-teman serikat buruh dari tadi pagi berjalan lancar, aman dan tertib,” katanya, saat jumpa pers di Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, bersama pimpinan sejumlah elemen buruh.
Dia juga mengakui, selama ini buruh merupakan salah satu motor penggerak pembangunan nasional.
“Ekonomi Indonesia 5 persen, nomor dua di dunia, ini adalah kerja keras teman-teman buruh, ini juga membuka ruang investasi, 1.400 triliun investasi, menambah lapangan kerja,” paparnya.
