Arusberita.id – Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Meutya Hafid mengapresiasi kolaborasi Kementerian Komdigi dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dalam upaya memerangi judi online di Indonesia.
Salah satu capaian utama dari kerja sama ini adalah pemblokiran lebih dari 10.000 rekening bank yang terafiliasi dengan aktivitas ilegal tersebut.
Langkah ini merupakan tindak lanjut arahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto, yang mendorong sinergi antarlembaga untuk memberantas judi online secara efektif.
“Arahan Presiden Prabowo sebelum berangkat, agar semua lembaga terkait bersatu padu, menunjukkan peran kita sebagai negara dalam melawan judi online. Kami berkomitmen untuk terus memperkuat regulasi yang responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Kami juga mengapresiasi kerja sama dengan OJK dalam membangun ekosistem keuangan digital yang aman, stabil, dan terpercaya,” ujarnya dalam Konferensi Pers di Kantor Kementerian Komdigi, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (14/11/2024).
Kementerian Komdigi dan OJK sepakat memperkuat regulasi serta meningkatkan pemantauan transaksi yang berpotensi terkait aktivitas judi online.
“Pengguna judi online dapat terjerat pemblokiran rekening. Kami akan tegas dalam hal ini dan akan mengirimkan data-data terkait ke OJK,” tegas Meutya.
Menkomdigi juga menyoroti arti penting literasi digital bagi masyarakat, salah satunya pemanfaatan platform cekrekening.id, yang akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam kerja sama dengan Anti Scam Center milik OJK.
“Hal ini diharapkan membantu masyarakat membedakan rekening-rekening yang aman dan yang terindikasi aktivitas kejahatan keuangan,” ujarnya.
Ketua Dewan Komisioner OJK Mahendra Siregar menekankan bahwa langkah pemblokiran rekening dilakukan secara menyeluruh dan melalui analisis mendalam.
“Kami memastikan adanya asesmen yang ketat pada rekening-rekening terkait dan melakukan langkah serupa untuk akun-akun lain yang dimiliki oleh individu-individu yang terindikasi,” jelasnya.
Kerja sama lintas lembaga ini mencerminkan keseriusan pemerintah, terutama dalam Kabinet Merah Putih, untuk melindungi masyarakat dari ancaman judi online sekaligus menciptakan ekosistem keuangan digital yang lebih aman dan berkelanjutan.
“Tentu kami juga meminta kepada bank untuk melakukan pendalaman dan asesmen menyeluruh terhadap rekening yang terafilisasi judi online. Dan melakukan langkah serupa bagi rekening lain yang telah diblokir,” tegasnya.
Turut hadir mendampingi Menteri Meutya dalam konferensi pers tersebut, Wakil Menteri Komdigi Angga Raka Prabowo, dan Kepala Eksekutif Komisioner OJK Friderica Widyasari Dewi.
