Arusberita.id – Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Meutya Hafid menegaskan komitmennya untuk mendukung peran dai dan pendakwah dalam memerangi judi online yang semakin marak di ruang digital.
Menurutnya, perang melawan judi online harus dilakukan secara simultan dan melibatkan berbagai elemen masyarakat, termasuk para dai sebagai tokoh yang memiliki pengaruh besar dalam membangun kesadaran moral umat.
“Kami mengajak Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) untuk bersama-sama memerangi judi online. Para dai memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan pencerahan kepada umat mengenai bahaya judi online, baik dari aspek agama, moral, maupun sosial,” ujar Meutya Hafid dalam acara Wisuda Akbar Da’i Standarisasi MUI Tahun 2024 di Mercure Ancol, Jakarta Utara, Sabtu (30/11/2024).
Menkomdigi menyampaikan bahwa ruang digital saat ini diwarnai oleh konten negatif, termasuk promosi judi online yang terus menyasar berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Ia menekankan pentingnya langkah-langkah kolaboratif untuk merebut ruang digital dari pengaruh buruk tersebut.
“Ruang digital kita perlu diisi dengan nilai-nilai yang positif. Para Dai menjadi garda terdepan dalam menyampaikan pesan moral kepada umat sekaligus memberikan edukasi mengenai bahaya judi online. Dakwah di era digital ini harus disampaikan dengan cara yang relevan dan menarik agar bisa menjangkau lebih banyak masyarakat,” tambahnya.
Sebagai bagian dari komitmen pemerintah, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital akan terus mendorong literasi digital di kalangan dai untuk membantu mereka memahami tantangan dan peluang di ruang digital. Literasi digital ini akan menjadi bekal bagi para dai untuk menghadapi isu-isu yang berkembang di masyarakat, termasuk dampak negatif judi online.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk memberikan literasi digital bagi para dai agar mereka dapat lebih efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwah, melawan promosi judi online yang merugikan masyarakat Indonesia,” tegas Meutya Hafid.
Menkomdigi Meutya Hafid juga menegaskan bahwa langkah ini sejalan dengan visi Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang menjadikan transformasi digital sebagai salah satu prioritas nasional. Ia berharap para dai dapat memainkan peran strategis dalam menciptakan ruang digital yang aman dan produktif.
Dalam Wisuda Akbar Da’i Standarisasi MUI Tahun 2024, turut hadir Ketua Umum MUI KH Anwar Iskandar, perwakilan Badan Pengelola Keuangan Haji, Badan Wakaf Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, dan Bank Syariah Indonesia.
Kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan MUI diharapkan dapat memperkuat perjuangan bersama dalam memerangi judi online dan menjaga moral masyarakat di era digital.
