Arusberita.id – Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno mengatakan, hingga kini nilai devisa pariwisata mencapai USD10,46 miliar. Angka itu setara dengan Rp160 triliun (kurs Rp15.444 per USD).
“Peningkatan nilai devisa pariwisata menjadi USD10,46 miliar, persentase kontribusi produk domestik bruto (PDB) mencapai 3,83 persen per triwulan III-2023,” ujar Sandiaga di Jakarta, Selasa, 28 November 2023.
Sandiaga dalam rapat kerja dengan Komite III Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) RI juga menuturkan, angka kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara mencapai 8,51 juta kunjungan.
“(Jumlah) wisatawan mancanegara ini sudah dua kali kami revisi. Awalnya 7,4 (juta), setelah itu 8,5 (juta), sekarang kelihatannya kita akan menembus 10 juta,” yakin dia.
Sandiaga mengungkapkan capaian angka perjalanan wisatawan mancanegara, melampaui target pencapaian awal yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya, yaitu 7,4 juta. Sedangkan, terkait travel and tourism development index (TTDI), untuk 2024 diharapkan bisa menembus peringkat 30 besar dunia.
Genjot sektor parekraf jadi kebangkitan ekonomi
Untuk meningkatkan pencapaian tersebut di masa mendatang, dalam rapat ini Menparekraf Sandiaga mengajak Komite III DPD RI untuk berkolaborasi dalam upaya menjadikan sektor parekraf sebagai lokomotif kebangkitan ekonomi dan pembukaan lapangan kerja di Indonesia.
“Kami harap teman-teman DPD bisa ikut berkontribusi sehingga target kita dalam menciptakan 4,4 juta lapangan kerja baru di 2024 bisa tercapai,” katanya.
Menanggapi capaian tersebut, Ketua Komite III DPD RI Hasan Basri, selaku pimpinan rapat mengapresiasi capaian dan realisasi program Kemenparekraf hingga triwulan III-2023.
“Kami juga mendorong penguatan program kegiatan dan anggaran Kemenparekraf tahun 2024 seperti rencana strategis dan rencana kerja 2024, pagu anggaran 2024, serta program strategis 2024 yang mendukung adanya pemerataan dan mendorong pertumbuhan daerah pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif di seluruh Indonesia,” ucap Hasan.
