Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo mendorong Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) untuk bersatu dan berada di garda terdepan dalam penyelesaian krisis di Gaza, Palestina.
Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Presiden Jokowi saat berbicara pada Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) Luar Biasa Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) yang digelar di King Abdulaziz International Convention Center (KAICC), Riyadh, Arab Saudi, pada Sabtu, 11 November 2023.
“OKI harus bersatu, harus berada di garis depan menggunakan semua cara damai, semua pengaruh, dan semua upaya diplomasi untuk bela keadilan dan kemanusiaan bagi Palestina,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.
Presiden Jokowi juga mendukung penyelenggaraan KTT OKI yang dinilai sangat tepat untuk dilakukan. Presiden menegaskan bahwa OKI harus mampu menghasilkan hal konkret agar kekejaman Israel di Gaza dapat segera dihentikan.
“Satu bulan telah terjadi kekejaman ini dunia seolah benar-benar tidak berdaya. Lebih dari 7,9 miliar penduduk dunia, lebih dari 190 pimpinan negara, tapi sampai saat ini tak satu pun mampu hentikan kekejaman ini,” ungkapnya.
Untuk itu, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan empat saran konkret saat berbicara di hadapan para pemimpin negara Islam. Pertama, Presiden Jokowi mendesak agar gencatan senjata segera dilakukan.
“Tanpa gencatan senjata, situasi tak akan membaik. Israel telah gunakan narasi ‘self defense‘ dan terus lakukan pembunuhan rakyat sipil. Ini tak lain sebuah collective punishment. Kita semua harus cari jalan agar Israel segera lakukan gencatan senjata,” tegasnya.
Kedua, Presiden Jokowi mendorong agar bantuan kemanusiaan dipercepat dan diperluas jangkauannya. OKI harus mengusulkan mekanisme bantuan yang lebih bisa diprediksi dan berkelanjutan mengingat situasi kemanusiaan di Gaza sangat memprihatikan.
“Situasi kemanusiaan sangat memprihatinkan. Contoh, RS Indonesia di Gaza Utara terus menjadi sasaran serangan Israel, sejak kemarin sudah kehabisan bahan bakar. Indonesia meminta semua pihak untuk menghormati hukum humaniter internasional,” jelasnya.
Ketiga, Presiden Jokowi menyerukan agar OKI menggunakan semua lini untuk menuntut pertanggungjawaban Israel terhadap kekejaman kemanusiaan yang telah dilakukan. Misalnya, mendesak diberikannya akses pada Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory yang dibentuk Dewan HAM PBB untuk melaksanakan mandatnya.
“Dan terus mendukung proses advisory opinion di Mahkamah Internasional,” imbuhnya.
Keempat, OKI harus mendesak agar perundingan damai segera dimulai kembali demi terwujudnya solusi dua negara dan menolak pemikiran solusi satu negara. Menurutnya, solusi satu negara hanya akan membuat Palestina dikorbankan.
“Jika memang mekanisme quartet sudah tidak dapat diandalkan, maka OKI harus mendorong proses negosiasi damai dengan format baru, dan Indonesia siap berkontribusi dalam negosiasi damai tersebut,” ucapnya.
Di penutup pernyataannya, Presiden Jokowi meminta dukungan dari para pemimpin OKI untuk menyampaikan hasil dari KTT Luar Biasa OKI kepada Presiden Amerika Serikat Joe Biden.
“Dari Riyadh saya sudah terjadwal melakukan kunjungan bilateral ke Amerika Serikat. Dengan izin para pemimpin, saya akan sampaikan hasil keputusan OKI hari ini kepada Presiden Biden,” tandasnya.
