Arusberita.id – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto menyampaikan rencana pemerintah untuk membentuk Koridor Cincin Nusantara sebagai salah satu penggerak ekonomi nasional yang baru.
“Kita melihat ke depan itu kan banyak Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN), tetapi kita lihat bahwa koridor utara Jawa itu menjadi sebuah koridor yang seharusnya tidak ada disrupsi, tidak ada gangguan,” kata Menko Airlangga dalam acara Investor Daily Roundtable di Cirebon, Kamis.
Koridor Cincin Nusantara sendiri akan meliputi Jawa bagian utara, Sumatra Selatan, Sulawesi Selatan, serta Kalimantan Timur.
Menko Airlangga mengatakan pengembangan Pelabuhan Patimban di Subang serta pembangunan proyek Jalan Tol Akses Patimban menjadi salah satu langkah awal agar Koridor Cincin Nusantara dapat terwujud.
Saat ini Pelabuhan Patimban mampu menunjang sektor manufaktur, khususnya industri otomotif di wilayah Jawa utara dengan kapasitas peti kemas sebesar 250.000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent), serta terminal kendaraan berkapasitas 218.000 CBU (completly build up).
Salah satu tujuan dari Koridor Cincin Nusantara yang lainnya yakni agar dapat menekan biaya logistik lebih rendah dari 10 persen.
“Itu membuktikan ekonomi utara yang luar biasa. Nah kalau kita lihat, kita ini punya Laut Jawa yang sangat potensial sekarang dari segi Timur, Barat dari jalan tol sudah tersambung tinggal kita memikirkan utara,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Menko Airlangga menilai Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) nantinya juga akan menjadi salah satu kota penunjang Koridor Cincin Nusantara. Selain mengerek pertumbuhan ekonomi, kawasan tersebut juga direncanakan dapat memeratakan ekonomi agar tak hanya berpusat di Pulau Jawa.
“Kalau kita lihat utara Jawa, Kalimantan Selatan, Sumatera Selatan, Sulawesi Selatan itu bisa membentuk yang namanya koridor ekonomi cincin yang infrastruktur laut. Lautnya tenang dan tidak terlalu dalam tetapi barang dari Sumatera dibawa ke Jawa, barang dari Kalimantan dibawa ke Jawa. Itu bisa membuat ekonominya bergerak secara keseluruhan,” terang Menko Airlangga.
