Arusberita.id – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia saat ini menempati peringkat ke-2 sebagai negara dengan tujuan investasi digital terbesar di ASEAN sebesar US$ 21,97 miliar.
“E-commerce Indonesia menyumbang 40% pangsa pasar di ASEAN, tahun 2023 kita mencapai US$ 77 miliar. Dan juga tentu bonus demografi yang sangat mempunyai kemampuan teknologi ini 53% (dari populasi),” kata Menko Airlangga saat acara Bank Indonesia bertajuk Festival Ekonomi Keuangan Digital dan Karya Kreatif Indonesia 2024, Kamis (1/8).
Airlangga menerangkan bahwa ekosistem ekonomi dan keuangan digital Indonesia telah mengalami kemajuan pesat dan mampu turut menjadi lokomotif penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional.
Hal tersebut tercermin dari beberapa pencapaian Indonesia di tingkat global seperti kenaikan 11 peringkat pada World Digital Competitiveness Ranking, dari peringkat ke-56 pada 2019 menjadi peringkat ke-45 pada 2023.
“Peringkat ke-6 untuk start-up secara global, memiliki start-up inovatif terbanyak atau peringkat ke-1 di ASEAN, serta memiliki 15 unicorn dan 2 decacorn yang sudah mendunia,” ujarnya.
Airlangga menyampaikan bahwa dukungan dan fondasi yang kokoh sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan laju lokomotif ekonomi digital tetap stabil dan memberikan manfaat maksimal seperti infrastruktur digital yang merata, talenta digital yang unggul dan adaptif, dukungan penuh bagi start-up dan UMKM, serta regulasi yang adaptif dan melindungi.
“Penguatan fondasi juga harus diikuti dengan peningkatan inklusi keuangan guna mendukung ketercapaian target inklusi keuangan,” jelasnya.
Berbagai program seperti QR Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) juga terus didorong melalui Dewan Nasional Keuangan Inklusif, kolaborasi pihak ketiga seperti Program Strive (Mastercard Indonesia) dan Promise 2 Impact (ILO) untuk meningkatkan akses layanan keuangan, serta perluasan literasi keuangan.
Langkah akselerasi digital ini menjadi fokus untuk inovasi dan investasi ke depan dengan dua hal. Pertama, hilirisasi dari semikonduktor. Indonesia sudah dipilih oleh Amerika dalam Indo Pasific Economic Framework (IPEF) menjadi tujuh negara yang menjadi prioritas dan akan di-placement ITSI Fund. Fund khusus untuk semikonduktor.
