Pemerintah Salurkan Bantuan 640 Ribu Ton Beras ke 21,3 Juta Keluarga Penerima

Arusberita.id – Pemerintah telah 100 persen menyalurkan bantuan pangan beras bagi masyarakat berpendapatan rendah selama tiga bulan. Penyaluran tersebut menyasar 21,353 juta Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) di 38 Provinsi dengan jumlah total mencapai 640 ribu ton beras.

Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional, Arief Prasetyo Adi, mengatakan keberhasilan penyaluran bantuan pangan beras tersebut merupakan hasil sinergi dan kolaborasi seluruh pihak terkait mulai kementerian atau lembaga, BUMN, Pemerintah Daerah, asosiasi, hingga Satgas Pangan Polri.
Arief juga menyambut baik kinerja Perum Bulog, PT Pos Indonesia, serta PT Jasa Prima Logistik (JPL) anak perusahaan Bulog dan PT DNR Logistic sebagai transporter dalam penyaluran bantuan beras tersebut.
“Bantuan pangan beras berfungsi sebagai bantalan, sehingga keberadaannya sangat penting untuk menjaga daya beli masyarakat, terutama 21,353 juta Kelompok Penerima Manfaat (KPM) yang masuk dalam program bantuan ini,” kata Arief melalui keterangan tertulis, Selasa (18/7).
“Dengan rampungnya penyaluran bantuan beras tersebut, saat ini kita sedang berupaya untuk mengajukan penambahan periode penyaluran bantuan selama 3 bulan ke depan,” tambahnya.
Arief mengungkapkan proses penyaluran bantuan itu mengalami berbagai tantangan di lapangan mulai dari validasi data KPM hingga kondisi akses distribusi ke daerah-daerah terpencil khususnya di provinsi-provinsi baru seperti Papua Barat Daya, Papua Selatan, Papua Pegunungan, dan Papua Tengah.
Untuk itu, seiring dengan berkembangnya sistem pemerintahan di daerah tersebut, Arief mendorong penguatan sistem logistik pangan yang dapat menopang stabilitas pasokan pangan di wilayah tersebut.
