Arusberita.id – Penajam Paser Utara. Penjabat Gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Dr. Drs. Akmal Malik, M.Si, sebut Penetapan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) di Kaltim merupakan instrumen untuk mewujudkan keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia.
“Dengan adanya IKN. Maka kebijakan-kebijakan yang diputuskan pusat, akan berpihak kepada wilayah-wilayah tersebut,” ujarnya, dilansir dari laman RRI, Minggu (9/6/24).
“Bagi saya, masa depan Indonesia, di Indonesia Timur. Timur Indonesia itu di mana, yaitu IKN,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu Pemprov Kaltim sangat mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang berada di sekitaran IKN turut mendukung dan berkontribusi. Hal ini bertujuan agar pembangunan IKN bisa komprehensif.
“Itu sebabnya. Dengan memimpin sebagai Pj Gubernur, saya wajib melakukan komunikasi-komunikasi yang ada di masing-masing daerah dapat tercapai,” tutupnya.
