Arusberita.id – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) didampingi Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo menghadiri Apel Santri dan Pelajar Emas 2045 serta Silaturahmi dengan para Guru Ngaji se-Pulau Jawa yang digelar di Lapangan Sepak Bola Taman Rekreasi Kalianget, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, pada Senin (22/01/2024).
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Negara mengajak para santri dan pelajar untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi kemajuan bangsa dan negara Indonesia.
“Santri dan para pelajar punya kesempatan yang sangat besar untuk berkontribusi bagi kemajuan negara kita di berbagai daerah yang berbeda-beda,” ujar Presiden.
Presiden mengatakan bahwa pemerintah terus berupaya memberikan dorongan dan semangat besar terhadap peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Tanah Air. Oleh sebab itu, Presiden mengingatkan para santri dan pelajar untuk menguasai berbagai bidang ilmu dalam rangka memenangkan kompetisi antarindividu maupun antarnegara.
“Tanpa itu sulit rasanya kita bisa melompat menjadi negara maju,” ungkap Presiden.
Tidak hanya itu, Presiden juga ingin agar para pelajar dan para santri dapat menjadi contoh bagi generasi muda Indonesia untuk terus mencintai negara, menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan, serta menyebarkan Islam yang toleran, moderat, dan ramah.
Terakhir, Presiden mengajak para santri dan pelajar untuk ikut dan berperan serta dalam pesta demokrasi yang akan berlangsung 14 Februari mendatang. Presiden ingin para santri dan pelajar menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan baik.
“Saya mengajak seluruh santri dan pelajar untuk berpartisipasi dalam pesta demokrasi tahun 2024, menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan sebaik-baiknya, dan menjadi bagian dari kemajuan bangsa ini,” tutur Presiden.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dan Ibu Iriana dalam kegiatan ini adalah Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Pj. Gubernur Jawa Tengah Nana Sudjana, dan Bupati Wonosobo Afif Nurhidayat.
