Arusberita.id – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyambut gembira hadirnya transportasi ramah lingkungan berbasis listrik di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Investasi senilai Rp250 miliar oleh Blue Bird Group ini nantinya akan mempercepat pengembangan sistem transportasi publik di IKN.
“Peluncuran transportasi ramah lingkungan ini akan mempercepat pengembangan sistem transportasi publik berbasis listrik di Ibu Kota Nusantara,” ujar Presiden Jokowi dalam sambutannya saat peluncuran transportasi ramah lingkungan Blue Bird Group, Kamis (21/12/2023) di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur.
Presiden menekankan, pembangunan IKN yang berkonsep forest city akan mengedepankan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan, mulai dari green building, green energy, hingga transportasinya.
“Dan, investasi yang ditanamkan oleh Blue Bird Group akan digunakan untuk pengembangan sistem transportasi yang ramah lingkungan, pengadaan bus rapid transit listrik untuk mendukung layanan perkotaan, taksi listrik, mobil rental listrik, serta bus jurusan dari Balikpapan ke IKN,” ucap Kepala Negara.
Selain itu, Presiden mengungkapkan, Blue Bird Group juga akan melengkapi sarana pendukung yang dikelola secara terintegrasi dengan menggunakan teknologi pintar, seperti penyediaan halte, park and ride, transfer point depo, dan charging point.
“Saya mengapresiasi, saya sangat menghargai komitmen Blue Bird Group untuk mendukung inisiatif transportasi ramah lingkungan di IKN untuk menciptakan masa depan mobilitas yang berkelanjutan dan menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat,” tandasnya.
