Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) resmikan moda transportasi kereta api ringan Lintas Rel Terpadu (LRT) Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Bekasi (Jabodebek) di Stasiun LRT Cawang, Jakarta pada Senin, 28 Agustus 2023. LRT sepanjang 41,2 kilometer tersebut dibangun dengan menghabiskan anggaran Rp32,6 triliun.
“Hari ini alhamdulillah LRT juga sudah siap dioperasikan, baik yang dari Harjamukti di Cibubur dan dari Bekasi ke Jakarta sepanjang 41,2 kilometer dan menghabiskan anggaran Rp32,6 triliun,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.
Kehadiran LRT ini melengkapi deretan moda transportasi massal yang dibangun oleh pemerintah di ibu kota dan sekitarnya setelah Moda Raya Terpadu (MRT), Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL), TransJakarta, hingga kereta bandara. Presiden Jokowi berharap dengan hadirnya moda-moda transportasi massal tersebut, masyarakat bisa beralih dari transportasi pribadi ke transportasi massal sehingga bisa mengurangi kemacetan di ibu kota dan sekitarnya.
“Kita selalu masuk sebagai 10 besar kota yang termacet di dunia. Setiap hari masuk 996 ribu kendaraan ke Jakarta setiap harinya. Oleh sebab itu, macet, polusi juga selalu ada di Jakarta. Oleh sebab itu kenapa dibangun MRT, LRT, KRL, TransJakarta, BRT, kereta bandara agar masyarakat kita semua beralih dari transportasi pribadi ke transportasi massal” ujar Presiden.
Meskipun demikian, Presiden Jokowi mengaku bahwa mengalihkan masyarakat ke transportasi massal memang tidak mudah. Sebagai contoh, penggunaan MRT yang belum mencapai kapasitas maksimalnya setiap hari.
“MRT meskipun setiap hari saya lihat penuh, tetapi kapasitas yang kita inginkan setiap hari 180 ribu penumpang dan hari ini masih 80 ribu, masih ada kapasitas yang belum penuh terisi,” imbuhnya.
LRT Jabodebek sendiri memiliki 18 stasiun dalam dua lintas pelayanan, yakni Cibubur Line dan Bekasi Line. Cibubur Line melayani perjalanan dari Stasiun Harjamukti di Depok, Jawa Barat, menuju Stasiun Dukuh Atas di Jakarta dan melintasi 12 stasiun pemberhentian dengan jarak tempuh 24,3 kilometer.
Sementara itu, Bekasi Line melayani perjalanan dari Stasiun Jati Mulya di Kabupaten Bekasi menuju Stasiun Dukuh Atas dan melintasi 14 stasiun pemberhentian dengan jarak tempuh 27,3 kilometer. Kepala Negara pun berharap masyarakat bisa berbondong-bondong menggunakan moda transportasi LRT, terutama bagi mereka yang berada di sekitar Cibubur, Bekasi, dan sekitarnya.
“Kita harapkan masyarakat berbondong-bondong beralih ke LRT, baik dari Cibubur dan sekitarnya maupun Bekasi dan sekitarnya sehingga kemacetan di jalan bisa kita hindari dan juga polusi bisa kita kurangi,” ungkapnya.
Turut hadir dalam acara peresmian LRT tersebut antara lain Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo, Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin beserta Ibu-Ibu Anggota Organisasi Aksi Solidaritas Era Kabinet Indonesia Maju, Ketua MPR Bambang Soesatyo, Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi Anwar Usman, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani, Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir, Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi, Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung, Pj. Gubernur DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Wakil Gubernur Jawa Barat Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, dan Direktur Utama PT KAI Didiek Hartantyo.
