Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memerintahkan agar menjelang tahun politik ini persatuan perlu dijaga mulai dari unit terkecil pemerintahan.

Saat ini, menurut Presiden, unit pemerintahan terkecil adalah Desa atau kampung.

Hal tersebut dimaksudkan agar suasana damai terus terjaga dan pembangunan desa tidak terganggu. Ini terutama karena menjelang Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024.

“Saya titip karena suasana sudah mulai hangat, meskipun itu biasa dalam pesta demokrasi, entah itu Pilpres, entah itu Pemilu, hangat itu biasa. Tetapi yang harus diantisipasi sedini mungkin agar tidak terjadi pembelahan dan perpecahan,” ujar Presiden.

Jokowi menyampaikan hal tersebut dalam sambutannya pada Jambore Nasional Dai Desa Madani Persaudaraan Muslimin Indonesia (Parmusi) Tahun 2023 di Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango, Kabupaten Cianjur, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Selasa (26 September 2023).

Presiden Jokowi mengungkapkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki suku yang beragam dan konflik yang terjadi dari keberagaman itu tidak mudah terselesaikan apabila terjadi.

Untuk itu, Kepala Negara mendorong Parmusi turut memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat terkait pentingnya menjaga perdamaian.

“Inilah pemahaman – pemahaman yang harus diberikan pada masyarakat bahwa yang namanya persatuan dan kesatuan itu sangat penting,” ujar Kepala Negara.

Dia pun meneruskan, “Jangan sampai nanti tiga calon (presiden) ini sudah terpilih satu, sudah ngopi-ngopi bareng, makan-makan bersama bareng, yang di bawah masih ribut,” katanya.

Menurut Presiden, perbedaan pilihan antarmasyarakat saat Pemilu nanti merupakan hal yang wajar dan tidak perlu diributkan.

Terlebih pesta demokrasi akan terus berlangsung setiap lima tahun.

“Perbedaan pilihan itu wajar, enggak perlu diributkan. Menang dan kalah dalam Pemilu, dalam Pilpres, dalam Pilkada itu juga wajar, biasa,” tambahnya.

Oleh karena itu, Presiden pun mengajak Parmusi untuk terus memperkuat toleransi dengan memperkokoh fondasi kerukunan umat beragama agar menjadi bangsa yang bersatu dan maju.

“Marilah kita terus merawat kerukunan kita, merawat toleransi kita, memperkokoh ukhuwah islamiah kita, memperkokoh ukhuwah wathoniyah kita, memperkokoh ukhuwah insaniah kita, agar bangsa ini dapat menjadi bangsa yang bersatu, bangsa yang maju, bangsa yang baldatun toyyibatun warobbun ghofur,” tandasnya.
