Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo menyerahkan 1.000 sertifikat tanah wakaf kepada para penerima yang dipusatkan di Masjid Agung Sidoarjo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Provinsi Jawa Timur, pada Rabu, 27 Desember 2023.
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Negara menegaskan pentingnya sertifikat wakaf untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik dan sengketa lahan yang telah diwakafkan.
“Waktu diwakafkan nggak ada sertifikat, bapaknya sudah tidak ada misalnya, anaknya lho itu kok wakaf bapakku di tengah kota? Waduh ini nilainya bisa puluhan miliar, nah mulai. Disitulah mulai nanti yang namanya sengketa lahan dan itu kejadiannya di mana-mana,” ujar Presiden.
Presiden juga menyebut saat ini sudah banyak terjadi sengketa lahan akibat tidak memiliki sertifikat. Salah satunya masjid di daerah Senayan, Jakarta, yang menjadi sengketa karena tidak memiliki sertifikat dan memiliki nilai yang sangat tinggi hingga ratusan miliar rupiah.
“Saya nggak usah sebutkan masjid apa ratusan miliar jadi ramai. Inilah pentingnya sertifikat wakaf pada sore hari ini kita berikan kepada Bapak Ibu sekalian, baik itu masjid, mushola, lembaga pendidikan, semuanya,” ungkap Presiden.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Presiden mengatakan bahwa sertifikat yang telah diserahkan dapat menjadi dokumen hak hukum atas tanah yang telah diwakafkan. Selain itu, sertifikat wakaf tersebut juga dapat memperjelas status hukum sehingga tidak terjadi sengketa di kemudian hari.
“Kalau cucunya nanti klaim ini punya kakek saya, bukan ini sudah tanah wakaf. Tunjukin sertifikat, rampung. Tapi kalau belum punya bisa itu bergulir di pengadilan dan bertahun-tahun akan menjadi sebuah sengketa,” ucap Presiden.
Presiden Jokowi pun berharap agar ke depannya, tempat ibadah yang dibangun di atas tanah wakaf telah memiliki sertifikat. Hal tersebut penting untuk pengembangan tempat ibadah di masa mendatang.
“Kita harapkan semuanya bisa kalau mau membangun masjidnya, mau memperlebar masjidnya, karena haknya sudah jelas, tenang,” tandasnya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto, Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan, Panglima TNI Jenderal Agus Subiyanto, Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indar Parawansa, serta Bupati Sidoarjo Ahmad Muhdlor Ali.
