Arusberita.id – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyampaikan dalam sewindu terakhir pemerintah mampu menyelesaikan 161 proyek strategis nasional (PSN) dengan serapan mencapai 11 juta tenaga kerja.
“Dalam delapan tahun terakhir, proyek strategis nasional yang besar-besar telah diselesaikan 161 PSN dan menyerap tenaga kerja 11 juta orang,” ujar Presiden Jokowi pada Sewindu Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN), di Mal Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta, Rabu (13/08/2023).
Selain itu, kehadiran infrastruktur PSN juga telah membantu mendongkrak daya saing Indonesia di level internasional. Hal tersebut terlihat dari meningkatnya peringkat daya saing Indonesia dalam IMD World Competitiveness Index dari peringkat 44 ke peringkat 34 pada tahun 2022.
“Berdasarkan International Institute for Management Development (IMD), daya saing kita di tahun 2022 sebelumnya ranking 44, tahun kemarin kita sudah masuk ke ranking 34. Kenaikan 10 (peringkat) itu kenaikan tertinggi di dunia dan salah satunya karena urusan infrastruktur yang bisa banyak kita selesaikan,” jelasnya.
Oleh karena itu, Kepala Negara mendorong agar PSN lain yang belum selesai bisa segera dirampungkan paling lambat pada semester I/2024. Presiden Jokowi meminta agar jajarannya mengecek secara detail dan mengawasi pembangunannya agar proyek-proyek tersebut tidak berhenti atau bahkan mangkrak.
“Sekali lagi, jangan sampai ada yang mangkrak, cek betul, teliti betul, akar masalahnya apa kalau ada masalah, beri tenggat waktu, targetnya juga harus jelas kapan,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Presiden Jokowi mengingatkan agar jajarannya bisa mencari solusi-solusi inovatif dalam menyelesaikan persoalan di lapangan terkait pembangunan PSN. Presiden Jokowi mewanti-wanti agar jajarannya tidak menggunakan pendekatan represif kepada masyarakat karena sejatinya PSN bertujuan untuk memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat.
“Selalu saya ingatkan, jangan justru malah menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang represif kepada masyarakat. Masyarakat itu kalau ada ganti rugi itu senang, itu yang saya inginkan. Bukan ganti rugi tapi ganti untung karena memang harga yang diberikan adalah harga yang terbaik karena berulang kali saya tekankan, PSN ini tujuannya adalah memberi manfaat untuk rakyat, bukan justru sebaliknya menderitakan masyarakat,” tegasnya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi dalam acara tersebut yaitu Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto, Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional Hadi Tjahjanto, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, dan Ketua Umum Kamar Dagang dan Industri (KADIN) Indonesia Arsjad Rasjid.
