Arusberita.id – Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) terus berupaya meminimalkan kasus penipuan online melalui telepon dan layanan pesan singkat atau short messages system (SMS).
Direktur Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika Kementerian Kominfo Wayan Toni Supriyanto menyatakan upaya itu salah satunya dengan peibatan masyarakat untuk mengadukan nomor seluler yang digunakan untuk penipuan.
“Kominfo membuka kanal website AduanNomor.id bagi masyarakat untuk melakukan pengaduan terhadap nomor-nomor yang digunakan untuk penipuan, penawaran judi online, maupun iklan spam,” jelasnya dalam Konferensi Pers Antisipasi Penipuan Online Melalui Aduan Nomor, Rabu (15/11/2023).
Menurut Dirjen PPI Kementerian Kominfo pemblokiran nomor seluler dilakukan berdasarkan aduan masyarakat.
“Pemblokiran berdasarkan aduan, permintaan dapat dilakukan dengan melampirkan screenshot SMS atau rekaman percakapan yang terindikasi penipuan,” tegasnya.
Dirjen Wayan Toni menjelaskan laporan tersebut akan diverifikasi petugas untuk kemudian dilakukan pemblokiran oleh operator apabila terbukti.
“Setiap bulannya, operator akan melaporkan pemblokiran nomor kepada Kementerian Kominfo,” tuturnya.
Mengenai penanganan aduan pemblokiran nomor, Dirjen PPI Kementerian Kominfo menyatakan prosesnya membutuhkan waktu 1×24 jam.
“Begitu laporan sudah terverifikasi, Kominfo sampaikan ke operator, nomor seluler diblokir dalam kurun waktu 1×24 jam,” tandasnya.
Selama bulan Agustus s.d. Pertengahan November 2023, Kementerian Kominfo telah menerima laporan 958 kasus penyalahgunaan telepon dan SMS untuk penipuan online.
“Laporan tersebut kami terima melalui website AduanNomor.id, dan upaya pemblokiran telah dilakukan terhadap semua nomor seluler yang dilaporkan,” tutur Dirjen Wayan Toni.
Dalam konferensi pers, Dirjen PPI Kementerian Kominfo mengimbau semua berperan aktif dalam melawan penipuan online.
“Bagi siapapun yang menemukan adanya indikasi penipuan online, untuk dapat melaporkan nomor yang dicurigai melakukan penipuan melalui mekanisme yang sudah disebutkan sebelumnya,” ujarnya.
Kementerian Kominfo juga telah menyediakan layanan aduan konten penipuan pada website, platform digital, atau media sosial, melalui AduanKonten.id. Selain itu, Kementerian Kominfo juga menyiapkan mekanisme pengecekan dan pelaporan rekening bank yang terindikasi melakukan penipuan melalui CekRekening.id.
