Arusberita.id – Wakil Presiden, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, menegaskan bahwa program makan bergizi gratis yang tengah diujicobakan akan terus dikembangkan dengan berbagai skema untuk memastikan efektivitasnya.
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan Gibran saat mengunjungi venue para badminton Pekan Paralimpiade Nasional (Peparnas) XVII Solo2024 di Edutorium Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), Jumat (11/10/2024).
“Ini masih uji coba, kemarin ada usul dari Pak Hasyim untuk dilakukan dua kali sehari. Di Jakarta, di SMA 70, jamnya saya rubah jadi sarapan. Silakan nanti kalau ada masukan-masukan lain,” kata Gibran kepada wartawan.
Menurut Gibran, program tersebut sedang diuji coba dengan berbagai skema, mulai dari jam makan hingga jenis menu yang disajikan.
Ia akan menerima semua masukan dari murid, guru, komite sekolah, hingga ahli gizi untuk penyempurnaan program ini.
“Saya coba kemarin, makan di jam 7 pagi, juga pernah ada di jam siang, dengan dua kali makan—makan berat dan makan ringan,” jelasnya.
Saat ditanya mengenai uji coba di luar Jawa, Gibran mengungkapkan bahwa program tersebut juga sedang dijalankan di beberapa wilayah seperti Makassar, Lampung, dan daerah lainnya, meskipun ia belum meninjau langsung pelaksanaannya.
Mengenai kendala yang dihadapi di luar Jawa, Gibran menyatakan bahwa harga makanan bukan menjadi masalah utama.
Namun, tantangan ada pada penguatan menu ikan serta logistik di beberapa lokasi yang sulit dijangkau.
“Logistik memang menjadi tantangan di beberapa tempat, dan kami akan mengatasinya dengan mitigasi khusus,” tambahnya.
Program makan bergizi gratis ini merupakan bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kesehatan dan kecerdasan anak-anak Indonesia, dengan harapan dapat memerangi stunting dan mendukung perkembangan generasi muda.
Gibran berjanji akan terus memantau pelaksanaan dan menyesuaikan program berdasarkan masukan yang diterima.
Pemerintah berkomitmen untuk memastikan setiap anak mendapatkan asupan gizi yang layak, tidak hanya di wilayah perkotaan, tetapi juga di daerah terpencil.
Uji coba program ini diharapkan dapat menemukan solusi yang tepat untuk pelaksanaan di seluruh Indonesia.
