Arusberita.id – Dana Moneter Internasional (IMF) melihat pemulihan ekonomi di Indonesia usai pandemi Covid-19 terjadi lewat sejumlah indikator makroekonomi yang kuat. Hal ini didukung penerapan kebijakan moneter dan fiskal secara berhati-hati.
Hal tersebut tertuang dalam asesmen IMF atas perekonomian Indonesia dalam laporan Article IV Consultation tahun 2023 yang dirilis hari ini, Senin, 26 Juni 2023. Dalam laporan itu disebutkan kebijakan forward looking dan sinergi telah berhasil membawa Indonesia menghadapi tantangan global pada tahun 2022 dengan pertumbuhan yang sehat.
Selain itu, tantangan global pada 2022 bisa ditunjukkan dengan laju inflasi yang menurun, dan sistem keuangan yang stabil. Bank Indonesia menyambut baik hasil asesmen dan sejumlah rekomendasi yang disampaikan IMF tersebut.
“Proyeksi positif IMF tersebut sejalan dengan hasil asesmen Bank Indonesia (BI) yang memperkirakan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional akan berlanjut sejalan dengan kemajuan agenda reformasi,” ujar Direktur Departemen Komunikasi BI, Erwin Haryono, dalam keterangan tertulis, hari ini.
Lebih jauh, Dewan Direktur IMF pun mengapresiasi dan memberi catatan positif terhadap berbagai kebijakan yang ditempuh otoritas Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2022.
Pertama, keberhasilan otoritas untuk kembali kepada batas maksimal defisit fiskal 3 persen, dinilai lebih cepat dari yang diperkirakan dan komitmen otoritas untuk menerapkan disiplin fiskal.
Kedua, penerapan kebijakan moneter yang memadai untuk menjaga stabilitas harga.
Ketiga, ketahanan sektor keuangan yang tetap terjaga.
Keempat, penerapan UU Cipta Kerja serta UU Pengembangan dan Penguatan Sektor Keuangan, dengan memastikan implementasi yang tepat dan keberlanjutan momentum reformasi untuk mendorong kemudahan berinvestasi, meningkatkan pendalaman pasar keuangan, dan memitigasi dampak scarring dari pandemi.
Kelima, strategi diversifikasi Indonesia yang fokus pada upaya hilirisasi dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai tambah ekspor.
Keenam, komitmen otoritas untuk mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca dan deforestasi.
IMF dalam laporannya juga memproyeksikan kinerja ekonomi Indonesia tetap kuat dengan sedikit moderasi di tahun 2023. Sejumlah faktor risiko juga disebutkan perlu diwaspadai, terutama terkait ketidakpastian kondisi ekonomi dan keuangan global yang berpotensi mempengaruhi outlook pertumbuhan.
Tak hanya itu, IMF juga menyampaikan rekomendasi untuk normalisasi kebijakan fiskal dan moneter sebagaimana kondisi pre-pandemi, keberlanjutan kebijakan sektor keuangan yang mendukung pertumbuhan inklusif, serta reformasi kebijakan secara lebih luas guna mendorong pertumbuhan jangka menengah.
Merespons sejumlah rekomendasi itu, Bank Indonesia, Pemerintah dan otoritas terkait terus memperkuat sinergi kebijakan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga stabilitas makroekonomi dan sektor keuangan, mendorong pertumbuhan dunia usaha khususnya pada sektor-sektor prioritas untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi dan ekspor, serta meningkatkan ekonomi dan keuangan inklusif dan hijau.
