Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengeklaim, pemerintah berkomitmen prioritaskan investor dalam negeri untuk membangun Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN).
Hal ini disampaikan Jokowi usai meletakkan batu pertama (groundbreaking) pembangunan Hotel Nusantara di kawasan IKN, Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur, Kamis (21/9/2023).
“Investor di dalam negeri harus didahulukan. Kalau enggak, nanti saya pasti dikomplain. ‘Pak di dalam negeri ini yang punya duit banyak, Pak. Ngapain cari ke Singapura, ke Malaysia, ke Korea, ke Jepang, ke Uni Emirat Arab? Di sini banyak yang punya duit, Pak’. Pasti ada yang berbicara seperti itu,” kata Jokowi, dalam sambutannya yang disiarkan melalui kanal Youtube Sekretariat Presiden, dikutip pada Jumat (22/9/2023).
Jokowi mengatakan pemerintah telah melakukan beberapa kali jajak pasar untuk mendorong para investor dalam negeri ikut serta dalam pembangunan IKN. Meski demikian, minat para investor dalam negeri saat itu masih sedikit.
Ia pun meyakini konsorsium pengusaha Indonesia yang akan membangun Hotel Nusantara akan meningkatkan minat investor lainnya untuk ikut serta membangun IKN. “Inilah yang nanti akan membawa lokomotif pada hari ini akan membawa gerbong di belakangnya akan banyak masuk (investor) ke Nusantara, saya yakin itu,” kata Jokowi.
Lebih lanjut, Jokowi juga mengapresiasi kehadiran para investor di IKN. Menurut Jokowi, kehadiran para investor secara langsung di IKN dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan investor lainnya terhadap Nusantara.
“Ini memberikan confidence, memberikan rasa percaya diri pada Nusantara bahwa ini sangat diminati oleh investor,” ujar dia.
Ia juga mengatakan, selain Hotel Nusantara, pemerintah akan melakukan peletakan batu pertama pada sejumlah proyek infrastruktur di IKN. Mulai dari toko retail, rumah sakit, hingga pusat pelatihan Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI).
Hadir dalam acara tersebut yakni Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Basuki Hadimuljono, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Investasi/Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Bahlil Lahadalia, Kepala Otorita IKN Bambang Susantono, dan Gubernur Kalimantan Timur Isran Noor.
