Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo meminta kepada seluruh akademisi maupun praktisi untuk tidak menghindari teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI). Menurutnya, ini merupakan bidang yang harus diantisipasi pada masa mendatang.
“Ini saya minta sekali lagi jangan alergi dengan teknologi, jangan takut dengan AI,” kata Jokowi Pada Sidang Terbuka Dies Natalis ke 60 Institute Pertanian Bogor (IPB) di Kampus IPB, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, Jumat (15/9/2023),
Ia bercerita pada forum besar seperti Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) G7, G20, hingga ASEAN semua negara berbicara mengenai AI.
“Takut sekali semua negara mengenai AI. regulasi belum ada aturan main belum ada, AI nya terus lari terus berubah-ubah,” kata Jokowi.
Sehingga ia berpesan kepada semua pihak untuk bersiap diri, namun tidak perlu takut akan mesin cerdas dan teknologi AI. Melainkan dicarikan solusi supaya mendorong pengembangan.
“Semua dibicarakan, artinya memang kita harus mengantisipasi dan bersiap diri. sekali lagi jangan takut dengan mesin cerdas dengan AI tak akan bisa mengalahkan manusia percaya itu. karena mesin itu hanya punya chip tp manusia punya hati punya rasa mesin gak punya. dan saya percaya ciptaan Allah SWT akan selalu lebih unggul dan mulia,” kata Jokowi.
Ia pun menyambut baik upaya civitas akademika IPB untuk memperluas disiplin ilmu terutama dalam ekosistem pangan. Karena hal ini membutuhkan manajemen, pendekatan sosial, intervensi teknologi AI, stem cell, biotech, big data, IoT, robotic dan lainnya.
